I was one of the many who got suspended. Thank you to those who are supporting us. I won't speak for the other Judges, but here is what happened to me:
I was told a few weeks ago that Wizards would contact each individual from the FB Chat for their investigation. I was never contacted. The chat has so much going on it, I turned the notifications off, and read it maybe once a day. I rarely scroll up through the 300+ messages that I miss. I did not see the spoiled cards in the chat. The first and only time I've seen them was on this very site. I woke up last week to a suspension. I was guilty by association, with no chance given to defend myself.
Take from that what you will. Again, thanks to those who have shown support. And to those who think we did something wrong, please consider what I have said.
I've played against Rakdos decks many times. Here's basically what happens every time:
They play a crappy creature or some crappy way to turn on Rakdos.
They play Rakdos.
I bounce or kill Rakdos.
Rinse and repeat.
In the end all they've done is play generally bad red and black creatures to little effect. I don't think he's a very good general...and if you want a good B/R finisher in a control deck, just play the original Rakdos. He is wayyyy better at that job than the new one.
As a judge at FNM, I have allowed people to Miracle their cards when they have put the card in their hand only if there is a witness that can tell me that was definitely the card they drew for their turn. I then instruct the player to play more carefully with their Miracles.
Of course, I would not do this at a Competitive event. FNM is supposed to be a learning experience, so when I can, I would rather educate and keep a player happy. Your mileage may vary from judge to judge on this subject.
Ok, keep thinking narrow. Because playing him then drawing your entire deck with one of the insanely easy and tutorable infinate life combos is a terrible play in edh. Stop net decking tier 1 edh decks and maybe you'll actually see value in cards besides "duh, my goodstuff deck that looks like every other goodstuff deck has all the best stuff" *tooths and nails for palinchron and phyrexian metamorph* "huh, that card isn't 15 dollars and isn't In
A single deck list i Saw on the internets' TRASH"
I think broad. I think of all the creatures in Magic that I could play in this guy's place...that's how I think. If he was Legendary...sure he'd be a neat general. If he dies...well cast him again whatever. As it is, he's less than exciting.
Anyway, arguing with ignorant douches is boring...I'm done with you.
Are we looking at the same card then? Maybe you have craw wurm desk top wall
Paper and you're confused. Please explain how it's bad in an eternal format where high mana costs are laughed at.
Creatures with high CMC and no immediate effect on the battlefield, good ETB ability, or self-protection are laughed at not only in Standard, but in EDH as well. Why don't you stop being a snip for half a second and think about it.

The first suggestion I think that is valid.

Flame Warning
You...should read Akroma.

You are. It has no self-protection and has no immediate effect on the battlefield.
Geist of Saint Traft was clearly on the better end of the gene pool.
I've played a lot of EDH...and I can tell a bad card when I see it.
