A red enchantment could be mana screw. I had a friend with krarks thumb deck and the screw didnt make it that much better. Then we'd have an UN card in standard that would only be good for casual. How you like that?
Thanks for trying to include the discontent necrogenisis. You make a good point, however I still think someone should set up a pole of some sort so we could see what kinda effects would be the best. Maybe starting a thread would work. Someone could keep track of all the different effects in the first post then on Friday we could take the top 10 effects a see what colours they are, or where in the colourpie we would slot them.
well, i'm disappointed.
land would'a been interesting; fascinating even and IMO enchantment is just another waste of cardboard. even rancor aint that good any more. it would take a lot of discussion to pull me back into this conversation as i think anything the community makes is gonna suck, not because you guys can't design good cards, but that it's an enchantment. we have removal for that. cheap removal. the land option was a little more sacrosanct. the removal for land is a little higher priced, a little more rare these days, a little more later game. less of an issue. if you make it an aura it's weak to creature removal and enchantment removal. not just one or the other but both, and that is what's got my but hurt, panties in a twist, stubbed toe hollaring.
so someone said that this colour choice is just a run around because we don't have an ability yet. maybe we should suggest abilities and vote on those first being as we have a bit of time now, then when the time comes to vote colour, we can be on a similar page as to what colour we want because we'll have some abilities in mind.
i don't know how to do it, so all i can do is suggest it.

The reason we should do land is there are no shortages of enchantments (tons in every set). Between the last ymtc and now the hottest topic bar none has been the reserve list, which, let's face it, revolves around land. This is our chance, albeit slim, to help guide wizards into seeing what we want and need with regards to land. We can make this happen if we stick together and pile in. this is our chance to make a difference. Vote land. Its the chance we've been hoping for.
Land does the most yet has the least # of other effects. Makeing more land more relevent is what im hoping is gunna happen. The CS land for instance, or a bolt. thats what id like to see.

when they started doing reprints in unlimited? 4th? They moved to white boarder to show that it was a reprint and that way it wouldnt negatively affect the price or collectability of the bb ones. It was silly and affected sales of coresets till they stopped in 10th edition. Best selling coreset of all time @the time.

That'd get my vote. Wizards didnt print tiagos card though, I doubt theyll print ours.
I use USZ in hightide as a finisher/digger. Its a combo deck and doesnt care about life total. It either goes off or it doesn't.
