I have started a Military exclusive group on Facebook “Military (MTG) Community. The intent of the group is for it to be a meeting place for active duty and veterans to be able to reach out and contact one another. I hated being the new guy that arrived to a unit and didn’t know who played or where to play at. We’re only about 35 members strong but already we have members stationed in Germany and one in Korea. Im also in contact with Soldiers Angels and the National Military Medical Center Walter Reed in order to give the service members wounded by battle an outlet to take their mind off of an often painful recovery and that outlet is Magic. I am based out of Fort. Bragg, NC and I am actively serving in the United States Army. I was introduced to MTG through a friend of mine and already I’ve seen what an amazing venue this game can be and how it can bring veterans together.
