I'm not a fan of the blue splash. Maybe with the next set but the duals aren't there for us to be jeskai and have white as the main colour of the deck. Then again, when then ext set comes out I'll be looking at Mardu Angels....Assuming a nice deathpact angel gets printed. Black would be my go-to splash. I also suspect Dawn of Hope is best. I will be testing them as soon as my copies arrive.
Is there any reason you aren't splashing white? I don't see any real downside to it....Just better sideboard/removal options....Oh and venerated loxodon+ lots of Gobbos= profit.
I've basically been playing this deck for the last 3 months (My first take on this sort of deck back in July: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/1185147#paper). It does very well in all match-ups but control definitely gives it a hard time unless you have a sideboard prepared for it (Banefire is insane...). I've been tweaking the deck somewhat, and testing out some interesting inclusions such as path of mettle in the 2 drop slot instead of vanguard. I've also tried adding a full playset of skyknight legionnaire to the deck for additional synergy with History of Benaliaand as a hastey, evasive threat. It seems pretty good. This is what I am currently testing.
I was unsure whether Experimental frenzy, Dawn of Hope or Vance's Blasting Cannons is a better source of card advantage in the deck so I will be testing them each in turn. So far, Path of Mettle has been very good in testing...Repeatable removal and a win-con. It feels very good dropping it turn 2 on the play when they have a Llanowar elf and/or Pelt collector on the field... Can't ask for more.
In the sideboard I am no longer running Settle the Wreckagespecifically because of Banefire and mono red. This may change depending on my local meta, but given how many mono red decks are around right now...I don't see that changing anytime soon. Deafening Clarion and Cleansing Novado a good enough job at clearing up boards. I may end up adding an additional Nova to the side...
Honestly, I can see this deck being strong throughout standard. Perhaps we should look into making a proper primer for it given it's success.
Naya midrange is also something I have considered. Im usually on the Boros plan but theres a few things in Selesnya that tempts me. I do think we should probably be using white as the base colour though. HoB, Shalai and Lyra seem like must-haves in the deck
Hey folks! Just doing some brewing and I quite like the idea of a Red goblins list, splashing white for radiant destiny better removal and venerated loxodon to pump all the little dudes even more! What do you guys think?
This is only my first iteration of the deck and so is probably no-where near optimal but I definitely think a goblin deck with venerated loxodon and radiant destiny can be good....
I feel like angel decks should be naya now with Aurelia around, plus green to activate shalai. There's very little downside to doing it and you get access to so many good cards.
I honestly think that Sarkhan's unsealing is a massively underrated card. Whilst my first thoughts were to go to dragons along with the new Sarkhan, I realized Dinosaurs seemed much better and had arguably better support. So what do you guys think of this? This is just the first iteration of the deck and I will start playtesting it soon.
I wanted to try and maintain some early-game threats to improve game 1 against control decks. The deck has been testing pretty well. What are your thoughts?
There are some interesting synergies in this build.
I really want to make a RW aggressive midrange deck with this card in.....
Something involving many of the Ramunap red pieces, but with mainboard white removal (binding/cast out), curving out at glorybringer/Huatli and using Vances blasting cannons as card draw. It feels quite close to being a thing,
I dont think its too hard to get this huge. Savage stomp, Samut, the Tested, Rile......There's a few decent ways. Also, curving into a rishkar on turn 3 makes it far more likely to get its enrage off.

As far as removal goes, I am not a fan of seal away/Conclave tribunal/Ixalan's binding right now. Between the prevalence of Thrashing Brontodon, Knight of Autumn and Assassin's Trophy, I think you leave yourself open to being blown out by utilising these enchantment-based removal options. Justice strike hits pretty much everything in the format this deck would consider to be a threat and Integrity//Intervention is just so versatile it warrants and inclusion in the deck I feel.

They want Dinos to be Naya......and tbh....So do I....
