My friend and I were bored today, and we discussed our hatred of combos.
This parody of Backstreet Boy's - I Want It That Way, was created.
I Really Hate Cascade
Yeah
I hate your Fires
And Decks with Mind's Desire.
Believe, when I say
I am going to hate Cascade.
But we play the game from the start
You catch me off-guard
You ruin my day
Because You're playing Swans Cascade.
Tell me why
You net-decked a combo
Tell me why
Wizards' broken Swans of Bryn Argoll
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
I'm playing Swans Cascade
I'm sick and tired.
Of combo designers.
Yes i know its too late
But why did Wizards make Cascade.
Tell me why
Extended combos Bonds and Cascade
Tell me why
I hate when decks like this are made.
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
Cause I really hate Cascade
Now I can see that your Seismic Assault
Will go off to finish me, Yeah
No matter the play
I want you to know
That combos are so cheap...
You've Channeled Fire
Dovescape with Guile.
You are
You are, You are, You are
Don't wanna hear you say
Cause' now I'll have to fill my board with hate
Why do combos have to be so great?
(Don't wanna hear you say)
I never wanna hear you say
Playing Combo is the Way
Tell me why
All formats combo'd Cascade.
Tell me why
Wizards had to make this mistake.
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
(Don't wanna hear you say it)
Playing Combo is the Way
Tell me why
All formats combo'd Cascade.
Tell me why
I'll have to go back to my Fae.
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
(Don't wanna hear you say it)

My Opponent at 7 life, He had a smirk on his face as he ripped and played a Battlegrace Angel. I proceed to play Bituminous Blast --> Bloodbraid Elf --> Hell's Thunder, Killing the Angel, and doing lethal.
Drop the red (Thought Hemorhage, Terminate, B-Blast)....replace with 4x Path to Exile, 2-3x Profane Command, 4x Bitterblossom.
Not quite sure BoP is needed here, also make sure to test with Safehold Elite as the increased efficiency of your curve may be worth more than the wither of Rendclaw Trow.
-1 Unstable Frontiers +1 Treetop Village
I don't see when you would ever want Unstable Frontiers, if it is for the blue/black splash then you should be replacing some of your basic's with more painlands. Also if you solidify your blue splash you could replace Gutteral Response with Negates, as the range and versatility of Negate > Gutteral Response.
Treetop Village is a beast in an deck with Hierarch and Rafiq.....I hear 4/4 double striking tramplers, that don't die to wraths are pretty good
And as Harbinger_ said the splash for black for 3 Doran i dont think is worth it. I personally would rather just use Rhox War Monk in its spot.
I have not had extensive testing with Naya Charm, but it might be good. Ajani Goldmane has limited synergy in the deck, as the vigilance only affects one of your guys (as only one of your guys is usually on the offense). If you have Fae in your meta 2x Cloudthresher's would be much better in that spot I think.
Celestial Purge definitely needs testing. I think it should/will find a place somewhere in the deck, as it is varying degrees of usefullness across the board
Kills Bitterblossom(Fae and BW Tokens), Figure of Destiny(Kithkin/RDW), every other creature in RDW, and takes out Ajani Vengeants with ease(Vengeant Lark/Planeswalker)
I'm plan to start testing with a split between Celestial Purge and Unmake in the MD.
And as for Lapse of Certainity, I can only seeing it be effective turn 4 on the play against Wrath of God. I don't think that's really worth it.
i dont think mana dorks are the right call here...you should aim more at simply dropping lands controlling the board (firespout, volcanic fallout, pyroclasm, etc) in the first 3 turns and using midrange fat such as Chameleon Colossus to keep board pressure, so you can set up your X-shenanigans. I would highly consider using a couple Flameblast Dragons as a finisher.
Dramatic Entrance meet Progenitus. Off a turn 2 Devoted Druid, we get a turn 3 flashy 10/10 that seems to be impossible to kill. And can kill the opponent in two turns.
Rupture Spire is interesting, my unbased guess would be that its uncommon, its a vivd that can produce all colours for the rest of the game, but its basically a land with a casting cost of 1 (can't be played turn1 though)
Unstable Frontier - Land
Tap to add (1) to your mana pool
Tap to turn target land you control into the basic land type of your choce until end of turn.
My finalized version....missing i for choice, but theres only one i in the clue and thats for Frontier.....so thats it guys, with possible formatting differences (ie.Astrospoon said it might be target basic land you control into the land type)

As for the person that said how do we beat red...naya means access to Burrenton Forge-Tender as well as Celestial Purge
I think Little Birdy just gave us what the cards do (as in how you would explain it verbally to someone else)....not neccessarily proper formatting.
For example, formatting should be
Unstable Frontier - Land
T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
T: Target land you control becomes the basic land type of you choice until the end of turn.
Unstable Frontier ..... functional Shimmering Grotto that helps domain, probably common/uncommon
Tap: to add (1) your mana pool
Tap: to turn target land you control into the basic land type of your chooce until end of turn.
But choice is spelt wrong and these are leftover(i think) so probably somethings wrong.
