A New and Exciting Beginning

The End of an Era

This is my moral code and guideline to mafia, regardless of my alignment in game.

Rule #1: No one is confirmed anything until the mod says so.

Especially in non basics, Godfathers, millers, questionable cops. All are possibilities for lying. I am not saying that if you get a guilty result, you shouldn't push as a cop. But I wouldn't confirm a town result acting all sorts of scummy either. Obviously, there are rare instances where even the mod lies on death (death miller, some variations of God-father, ect), but a safe rule of thumb is a body is a great place to start.

Rule #2: Don't use or believe emotion in game.

Town can do it. Mafia can do it. Being frustrated means nothing as far as alignment goes, and if anything, can be seen as flailing. If being emotional were all it took to be cleared, then guess what would happen...

Rule #3: If you vote someone and they claim vanilla, unless a cop/information role intervenes, be prepared to lynch.

If your voting someone to claim range, it means you want them dead to see their alignment. Claiming is a formality to make sure you don't shoot your team in the foot, so if a claim of vanilla is reached, then you better be prepared to act on it. I will call you out if you don't.

Rule #4: NEVER EVER EVER, throw your vote around in LyoL.

Many games have been lost off of an overeager townie opening the gates to a speed lynch. Until there is a general consensus, there is absolutely no reason to toss a vote out.

Rule #5: When in a deadlock, policy lynching is your best friend.

Often misinterpreted as a "safe lynch", there is nothing wrong with lynching someone because they are unhelpful, lurking, or doing nothing good for the town. A safe lynch means to lynch a person with a neutral alignment, vanilla claim, or an otherwise harmless/minimum loss to the town. This of course is negated at MlyoL and LyoL.
