This is a pure combo build but you can remove the ramp and some of the token spells if you want to make it a control deck.
That's actually pretty good, I didn't know about that card. I'm going to rework on my deck and show you when I'm done. I'm still thinking whether I make it a control deck which seems to be slower, or a ramp/token deck.
Not sure why you are running red in this. Feels like white or black have more promise. If you do decide to use red then a good planeswalker would be Koth. Since you can animate a mountain then fish up a spaghetti monster. Roast is pretty much better than slash.
Staff needs 7 Mana to play and activate. This is very slow for modern. So you should put this in a bit more controlling shell.
Oh, I thought red would be good splash for control. I don't mind changing the red to a white or black. I'm guessing black for more control, with discard spells.
Should I focus on making the deck a control shell or should I also add cards like Everflowing Chalice and Mind Stone for mana ramp?
I wanted to make a deck that focuses on control and cheating on a big creature, using Polymorph and Shape Anew. How can I improve this deck? What am I missing?
you don't want to play too many cards which do nothing for your Board state or disrupt your opponent, so I wouldn't add more cards like colfenor's plans or other.
For the disruption in BR you have removal and discard. So Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek, Duress are good here. TerminateFatal Push and other removal could be added and also a shell with artifact hate and Liquimetal Coating.
so a rough list could look like this:
Liquimetal coating does a great job with bazaar trader because the you can donate anything you want. Also gives you the opportunity to destroy any permanent with artifact hate cards such as smash to smithereens, smelt, Shatter and so on...
you can keep it in BR and have an alternate route for the deck. toyed with that for a while also.
cards to consider there(because they deal damage or have good use for other things too for example), are:
Damn that's actually an interesting combo. Now I'm not really sure what's a good approach. Should I add more bad cards to donate like Colfenor's Plans and Aggressive Mining? Or should I just focus on Immortal Coil and Demonic Pact, and get more control/creature spells instead?
Man immortal coil looks like it could backfire so fast and hard. You really have to be ready and able to donate it quickly. One crypt or relic and it's game over. Of course I see the interaction of donating it and then playing a bog for the scoops.
Yeah, you're right, it does seem pretty risky when you think about it.
Update: I removed Leyline, I feel like it's actually a bad thing to play it early since I'll lose immediately as soon as I cast Immortal Coil. Might as well just rely on other graveyard removers. Also, I added Sleeper Agent and more Visions of Brutality.
I made this deck and I'm wondering what I could do to improve it? I really just want to have a deck that focuses on donating with Harmless Offering and Bazaar Trader. Is there a way I can improve this deck for competitive playing or nah?
Update 1: I'm thinking of adding Sleeper Agent and more Visions of Brutality, so if Immortal Coil and Demonic Pact fails to work, I'll have a plan C. Would that be a good idea?
I just went with UW colors. It seems to have more control. And also, it has a cheap token creating card, and it creates an "artifact creature".

Whoa, thanks for pointing that out. I actually missed that one.
I'm guessing it's because of the word "donation" oops. I hope this is the right place to post, this where google led me.
