Hmm Wildfire could actually be really cool here and it doesn't hurt me as much as my opponents most of the time (Obliterate is just too savage :P). I totally forgot about World Shaper and it is an instant include, thanks for reminding me. Seasons Past I was actually thinking of and maybe will try it especially if I include Wildfire or similar effect. Final Parting looks really, really good in these deck so I will put it into it for sure.
I was also thinking about adding cards like Reveillark, Reflector Mage, Sphinx's Revelation, Utter End or Impulse but dont know if it is worth it and what to cut.
Hey guys I've recently decided I wanna try commander I picked three commanders and created budget decks. My questions are:
A) Which one is best in my meta (2x vampires, cats, atraxa and goblins)
B) Which one has the biggest room for the future improvement?
C) Is one of the decks particularly better in 1v1 commander since sometimes I will be playing that format (mostly against vampire deck)
That's really interesting approach. How is Karn performing? Is he necessary? I guess you run Bygone Bishop over Mentor of the Meek because of Karns -2 synergy also you can gather clues and draw later (it gives clue from Archangel of Thune and Mentor doesnt but thats really minor issue) + it's just a better creature? What do you think about Resplendent Angel here? With Oketra's Monument and Genesis Chamber it feels like a piece of cake to activate. Question is if it's even worth it. I really like amount of card advantage in your list.
I'm a new player and I dont actually see why would your deck fit more here than hate bears thread. It has so little in common with soul sisters. Also like I said I'm just starting my adventure with more competetive magic and cant really see why your deck is superior to soul sisters. I mean you always can put some Selfless Spirit or Thalia, Guardian of Thraben into ss deck. Soldier of the Pantheon also does not look that great now, right? Most creatures played in modern are mono color or colorless. In the top 40 most played creatues in modern there is only reflector mage, meddling mage and mantis rider and I believe lifegain from this card is close to meaningless in your deck. You play Stillmoon Cavalier and White Shield Crusader just for the protections? Because except that they feel really medicore at best. So could someone explain noob like me why should I choose this deck over Sisters? It's no offense just want to learn
Hey, I've been recently inspired by the modern 5c humans deck and i started to think if I am able to somehow adjust it to my budget and to keep some of its playability. (I cant afford aether vial and most of the mana base)
I'm aware that this instantly lose against blood moon but in my environment there are no decks playing it, also my local meta is mostly creature based with a few exceptions. I'm wandering if I can strech out the mana base so I can play Mantis Rider (of course if it is worth playing in this deck) given that I only have access to fast lands, pain lands, ancient ziggurats and unclaimed territory . My other maybeboard/sideboard options are: Thalia, Heretic Cathar, Tireless tracker, Fiend Hunter, Rogue Refiner, Hanweir Garrison, Duskwatch Recruiter and Mirran Crusader. What are your opinions and thoughts about this deck?

Here I really would like to add Expedition Map and Ghost Quarter just dont know what to cut. Also Are cycling deserts worth including?
What can I add (budget options) to either of these decks and which one do you think is better and why?
A) Which one is best in my meta (2x vampires, cats, atraxa and goblins)
B) Which one has the biggest room for the future improvement?
C) Is one of the decks particularly better in 1v1 commander since sometimes I will be playing that format (mostly against vampire deck)
Ok so the decks now:
1.Gishath, Sun's Avatar typical dinosaur deck. Dont know if it has good balance between dinos and ramp spells also was wandering if 38 lands is enough. LINK: http://www.mtgsalvation.com/decks/5995-gishaths-dinos
2.Talrand, Sky Summoner spellslinger control deck.
LINK: http://www.mtgsalvation.com/decks/5976-talrand-budget-test
3.Kozilek, the Great Distortion colorless deck. Here I dont know if it is even good enough with my budget. I dont have any of the best finishers like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger etc.

I would appreciate your help and hints
4 Hangarback Walker

4 Ajani's Pridemate
3 Archangel of Thune
3 Auriok Champion
4 Ranger of Eos
3 Soul Warden
3 Soul's Attendant
3 Honor of the Pure
3 Legion's Landing

Sorcery (4)
4 Spectral Procession
Land (22)
12 Plains
4 Windbrisk Heights
4 Flagstones of Trokair
2 Ghost Quarter
3 Benalish Marshal
I love Hangarback Walker and tried to include it in my SS list. It is good vs sweepers, works very good with Archangel of Thune, sisters + Ajani's Pridemate and can be a target of Ranger of Eos. Unfortunately it does not get Honor of the Pure buff. What do you think?
4 Blisterpod
4 Blood Artist
4 Cartel Aristocrat
4 Doomed Traveler
4 Satyr Wayfinder
1 Teysa, Orzhov Scion
4 Zulaport Cutthroat
4 Tidehollow Sculler
4 Abzan Ascendancy
//Instant (2)
2 Rally the Ancestors
//Sorcery (4)
4 Return to the Ranks
//Land (21)
4 Blooming Marsh
4 Concealed Courtyard
3 Evolving Wilds
1 Forest
1 Llanowar Wastes
3 Plains
3 Sandsteppe Citadel
2 Swamp
What would you change/upgrade? Also any aid with the mana base would be very helpful. With this deck I dont have any removal (only some disruption with tidehollow sculler) so maybe I should include some path to exile or fatal push? Lingering Souls seems not as cool because of Abzan ascendancy. Is Abzan charm worth maindeck slot? I would love to try Renegade Rallier but how many of these and what to cut? And final question what is better here Cartel aristocrat or Viscera Seer?
G/B Sacrifice:
4 Blisterpod
4 Blood Artist
4 Bloodsoaked Champion
4 Catacomb Sifter
3 Grim Haruspex
3 Smothering Abomination
4 Sultai Emissary
1 Varolz, the Scar-Striped
4 Zulaport Cutthroat
3 Evolutionary Leap
//Instant (4)
4 Fatal Push
//Land (22)
4 Blooming Marsh
7 Forest
7 Swamp
4 Woodland Cemetery
//Maybeboard
3 Abrupt Decay
2 Bone Splinters
2 Bontu the Glorified
4 Carrier Thrall
4 Lead the Stampede
4 Llanowar Wastes
2 Murderous Cut
4 Nantuko Husk
Blisterpod and Bloodsoaked Champion are here as a 1 drop fodders. In 2 cmc I chose Sultai Emissary over Carrier Thrall just because it represents kind of a card advantage. 3 drops are Catacomb Sifter which seems to be very good here and Grim Haruspex which on the other hand I'm not completely sold on. It generates card advantage but cant do it with tokens. Other CA cards I included are Smothering Abomination and Evolutionary Leap but both are also enablers. Varolz, the Scar-Striped is just an alternative to Nantuko Husk and represents other win condition. I use Fatal Push is great in this deck but I consider increasing number of removals to 6(?) and use Abrupt Decay preferably or Murderous Cut/Bone Splinters. I'm still thinking about 1 copy of Westvale Abbey and maybe some Lead the Stampede.
Second deck is W/B aristocrats:
4 Blood Artist
4 Bloodsoaked Champion
4 Cartel Aristocrat
4 Doomed Traveler
4 Zulaport Cutthroat
4 Tidehollow Sculler
//Instant (4)
4 Fatal Push
//Planeswalker (1)
1 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar
//Sorcery (7)
4 Lingering Souls
3 Sram's Expertise
//Sorcery // Sorcery (2)
2 Dusk // Dawn
3 Concealed Courtyard
4 Isolated Chapel
7 Plains
7 Swamp
1 Westvale Abbey
//Maybeboard
1 Athreos, God of Passage
1 Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim
1 Bontu the Glorified
1 Dismember
1 Duress
1 Liliana, Heretical Healer
1 Oketra's Monument
4 Path to Exile
2 Phyrexian Arena
2 Rally the Ancestors
4 Return to the Ranks
1 Secure the Wastes
2 Shambling Vent
1 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
1 Sorin, Solemn Visitor
1 Teysa, Orzhov Scion
1 Tragic Arrogance
1 Vault of the Archangel
4 Viscera Seer
I feel like there is more options with this deck and that it is more reliable and a little more resilient. Dont really know if there is something to change/improve in the creature side of the deck. Maybe it is worth to include Bontu the Glorified, Athreos, God of Passage or Liliana, Heretical Healer? Other slot I'm not sure is a copy of Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is Sorin better or should i just completely give up on planeswalkers? Got 2 copies of Dusk // Dawn simply because it doesnt hit our creatures and the 'Dawn' mode is really cool but maybe Return to the Ranks is better or even more combo oriented Rally the Ancestors? Other cards I'm not sure I want to include but looks that they may work are Vault of the Archangel, Teysa, Orzhov Scion, Secure the Wastes, Oketra's Monument, Phyrexian Arena.
So what do you thinks about these two?
3 Metallic Mimic
//Creature (30)
4 Avacyn's Pilgrim
2 Thraben Inspector
4 Champion of the Parish
4 Kitesail Freebooter
4 Mayor of Avabruck
4 Thalia's Lieutenant
2 Duskwatch Recruiter
3 Reflector Mage
1 Anafenza, The Foremost
2 Thalia, Heretic Cathar
4 Path to Exile
//Sorcery (3)
3 Lead the Stampede
//Land (20)
4 Ancient Ziggurat
2 Gemstone Mine
4 Razorverge Thicket
2 City of Brass
4 Unclaimed Territory
4 Windbrisk Heights
2 Thraben Inspector
2 Sin Collector
1 Kambal, Consul of Allocation
2 Harsh Mentor
3 Auriok Champion
1 Reflector Mage
1 Lead the Stampede
3 Xathrid Necromancer
I've put Auriok Champion to sideboard instead of Soul Warden because despite being W more to cast I could make some use of it in other matchups than burn. I'm still thinking about including Mantis Rider instead of Metallic Mimic maybe? I also consider trying Experiment One in Thraben Inspector / Avacyn's Pilgrim slot.
