If RFG is supposed to be "Removed From Game", then this is false, as the Madness-Ability doesn't remove from the game the spell played with it.
RFG does stand for removed from game, and its not false at all.
Madness is a keyword that represents two abilities. The first is a static ability that functions while the card with madness is in a player’s hand. The second is a triggered ability that functions when the first ability is applied. “Madness [cost]” means “If a player would discard this card, that player discards it, but may remove it from the game instead of putting it into his or her graveyard” and “When this card is removed from the game this way, its owner may play it by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost. If that player doesn’t, he or she puts this card into his or her graveyard.”
but seriously, that is the Null Moon, a gigantic source of white mana. After yawgmoth nuked the thran some engineer sent it into space so he could not have it. Later the weatherlight tried to kill yawgmoth with it in Apocalypse (suprise) but it really doesnt do jack.
You should at least read the Weatherlight saga (Thran, Weatherlight, Merc
Masque, Nemesis, skip prophecy it sucked hard, Invasion Cycle) some of the best books written for MTG, and read Arena it was just that good.
I really want to read the Magic Books, but I can't find a good collection for a resonable price.
But seriously, without reading the books, legacy weapon looks like the freaking deathstar. From what I know, it takes out half a planet, and causes the apocalpyse.
Go Urza! your my hero. any chance you could sneak me the blue prints for the legacy weapon?
Wow, 52 Posts by thursday, If we keep up at this rate, We may just make it to 100.
I think that the best best for a movie would be with one of the older storylines.
Who wouldn't want to see The Legacy Weapon blowing the crap out of stuff. Magic Brand Death Star FTW!!! (Check out the Apocalypse one, It's coming from the moon!!)
The storylines are much richer in the past from what I've heard. I haven't had a chance to catch up on my Magic "History", but now that I'm in college, I'll have to scan Ebay for a complete collection of the Books.
The Brother's War would be a nice Movie. Most magic players know of Urza, maybe that guy from House MD, that doctor, could be Urza. Anyway its got a good plot, struggle for power and bonds between brothers, a nice big battle for a climax. And you get to have robots in a magical based fantasy movie.
OMG That cast would rock, and I would definitely go and see any movie with Hugh Laurie in it.
You guys do realize that in order to break 100 posts that the forum needs to be posted on an average of 14-15 times a day.
Seeing as it took both a really provocative argument, combined with an accident to push us over the 75 post limit last time, I really don't see that as happening anytime soon.
Does anyone have any ideas to assist in the breaking of 100 posts?
I'm so sorry Derek. That question was not meant for you. When I came across that combo, I too, thought it work. It wasn't my combo, but I would have played played it.
You are right about me being a Johnny though. Every deck I've every built has some sort of amazing combo in it that either ends the game, or just makes my opponents angry.
As far as MNM, Keep it as it is. I like the casual environment a lot better than the tourny scene (I tried it out, and my inner johnny and tournys don't really mix). But I do like hearing about whats going on in magic, and hearing about deck constructions and the like.
One of the better actions movies has to be "One" with Jet Li. Jet Li vs. Jet Li, and there both super-powered? Sounds like a winner.
Comment Contest Idea: The most memorable casual game you've ever played.
I can see using it with scouting trek, abundance, and some other howling mine effect.
Maybe toss in some cantrips to reset the fog count in multiplayer.

Other Beast creatures you control have Rampage
Weegee, I couldn't think up a story line if I tried.
Magic does seem to be the obivious choice, but I'm willing to bet that they screw it up. There is nothing sacred in HollyWood.
Side Note: Is this movie in way connected to Wizards?
i.e. if this thing bombs like dreamblade, are the rest of the PTQs gonna get cut?
