I have a playset of Fulminators that I am hoping to sell; that's why I don't have any in SB.
Haven't sold them yet though, just in case they become a necessity in BG or Abzan.
What is the consensus on the Liliana package in Abzan so far with Trophy?
I am buying into Abzan/GB and I am trying to decide if I need the 4th copy of LotV or not. Will most people be starting with a 4/1 split of Veil & Last Hope? Or would a 3/2 split work? Or I guess, maybe even a 3/1 split with an extra threat / removal spell instead of the 5th PW?
I’ve been running a very similar list with the following MB changes:
-1 JtMS
-2 Think Twice
+1 Snapcaster Mage
+2 Ancestral Visions
I’ve gone 10-2 over the last couple of weeks with it. The losses were to UR Storm and Humans. The wins were against G Tron(3 matches), Mardu Pyromancer, Elves (2), 8 rack, GW Value town, UR Wizards and Abzan.
Having the third snapcaster has been very good and would highly recommend it. And I have liked the Ancestral Visions enough that I’m considering cutting something to make room for a third one of those as well.
Grats, 10-2 is a nice run. I like the idea of having the third snap, but I also like being able to just board in RiP without worrying about turning off too many snaps. AV seems like it could be a nice addition... depending on how the deck performs at the SCG Open tomorrow, I might test some AV in main board. Seems like a solid turn 1 play, since you aren't usually trying to set up any miracle casts that early anyway.
I've got a second clique, might just swap out the blessed alliance with clique. Haven't really sided it in much, it's probably not necessary. I could see 3 Jace being fine, but I also feel like I see him often enough with 2 copies. Entreat is a weird one... sometimes it's cool to just be like "gotcha opponent!" but usually I draw it and sit on it for the rest of the game. But I personally am IN LOVE with telling time... seems like a very underrated card IMO. Running only two copies of Jace, do you think I should swap out the entreat for another cantrip? Think Twice or Serum maybe?
Edit: Do you think I am okay with only two Jace copies? I'd have to buy another one if I wanted to run three, which is probably the main reason I am running two ATM.

Yeah, I think I am leaning the same way you are... Sure, it feels awesome to field a tron land and then surgical it away... but that is not easy to set up.

Have you seen game 1 usages for these guys a lot?
