Ok, so before you grill me, I started playing MTG in 2013 and played for about a year and a half, took a couple years off and my love for the game has since been reinvigorated. I enjoy green far more than any other color, and I really want to hone this deck before moving on to a different one.
The whole plan with this deck is to get lots of mana quickly so that I can use the natural order, chord of calling and green sun's zenith to bring out some of the bigger creatures quickly. I'll admit that I run certain cards just because I genuinely like and enjoy playing it, like rancor, predator ooze and cryptolith rite, even though they may not create a ton of synergy.
I built this over the last couple weeks and will be playing it against other casual players next week. As I do test draw after test draw, I am consistently able to get out 5-6 mana by turn 3 which is fun, but I know it needs more work from much more experienced players. All critiques are welcome.
