Jan 4, 2018Fossil Firebird posted a message on Siegehorn CeratopsWhat's encouraging about this is that this set is giving us some decent low-cost Dinosaurs. That's where the first set lacked; you could have plenty of accelerators and cost-reducers, but if those got taken out, or you didn't get them, the early game was subpar. This guys alone is basically worth a 4-of in a lot of Dinosaur decks because it's easy to get it powered up, and it remains relevant into the late game if not removed. If we can get a couple more good early-mid Dinosaurs, we'll be off to the races.Posted in: Siegehorn Ceratops

Fossil Firebird posted a message on Siegehorn CeratopsHit it with Rile and it'll still have 3 toughness left over, trample, 4 power, and you draw a card, on top of an early blocker potentially not killing it, leaving it even stronger.Posted in: Siegehorn Ceratops -

tchntm43 posted a message on Sky TerrorThis is the first creature with both Menace and Flying since Two-headed Dragon in 8th Edition. The only other one is Wind Spirit which was last printed in 6th Edition. This is the only one of those to actually call it "menace" rather than spelling out what it does.Posted in: Sky Terror -

Hawk7915 posted a message on REC - Good Protection for Grixis Enchantments? You'll pretty much have to use Counterspells and targeted extraction effects to protect your enchantments. You can recur them with Skull of Orm or Crystal Chimes. Xenograft also does what you seek, and Unnatural Selection and Amoeboid Changeling do as well on a smaller, more narrow scale.Posted in: Commander (EDH) -
