Why are peashooters red? They don't seem very chaotic to me, since you place them in an orderly fashion and they shoot in a straight line to defend you from being killed.

It's good for all the reasons listed above, but if you want a card that has a similar function with less variance, I would suggest testing Twisted Image. You need a creature to cast it (but in standard not having creatures is rare) and it reduces the uncertainty while casting because you know its immediate effect, compared to Thought Scour, which gains you an unknown (if any) advantage.

To write with careful style is the essence of the thing.
Poems are fun stories that you're supposed to sing.
You can break stories up with no specific timing,
But personally I prefer the ones with chosen structured rhyming.
Without such imagery a poem is closer to just prose,
Though I'm probably just a scrub, we can't all be Edgar Allen Poes.
    Nonetheless, I will persist
    In my elementary school way
Sorry if that makes you pissed,
But I still wish you a good day.

    Pilot's Poem

And lo, we slip the bonds of earth
    Terrestial chains of mediocrity
We ascend upward into the heavens
    Beyond the realm of possibility
Free sky above, snow plains below
Our metal bird glinting in the sun
    How unimportant our cares seem!
In the face of winged travel
Our livelihoods are just a speck
    But please resume your seats
We have a bumpy ride in store
A mere blip in our joyous sailing
With the dirt our ocean's shore

    Epic Poem

    Uber iambic pentameter
    Rhyming every line
    Sweet synedoche read
    To a sing songey time
    Smiling youths and eager ears
    Famous lines recounted for years
    Earning endless laughs and praise
For this both old and new word craze
Blockbuster sales all across the nation

    Alas, alas...

If only poets could garner such exultation!

Well this is awkward. I can't think of one good thing to say about this one. Any advice?

Not that I'm very good at this, but one technique a better alterer friend of mine showed me was to paint over the art. What you might want to do is paint over and change the outer swirl of the card and then continue that throughout the border. This makes the card alter look more organic as a whole. Other than that you might want to try flicking (or even try smearing the paint?) along with a more thin brush to get that sort of fuzzy effect.

    Good luck!

    Turn 1:
    Spells> Saving Spells for Shrine

    Turn 2:
Stormblood Bersker Bloodthirsted > Arc Trail as a 2 for 1 > Shrine > Other Spells

    At least in my opinion.

Agreed, I think furnace scamp isn't as good as other cards in our maindeck, and he's not impactful enough to be worth the sideboard slot.

I'm pretty sure this is just a variant of the popular Solar Flare deck. You probably also want to play 4 forbidden alchemy.

I would actually argue for taking dream twist here. I think milling is actually viable in Innistrad draft (note: this is one of the very few formats I think its reasonable in.) You can also wheel the Sensory Deprivation that is pretty good in the mill deck. You don't really lose out on a whole lot either by trying this sort of wacky thing.

If you replace the word "counterspell" with "dredge card" you can see how ridiculous this argument is. It isn't fun when one deck (for example, mono-blue control) is miles better than the rest. Magic is still skill intensive no matter what deck you are playing.

I made the Kessig Wolf Run in under 12 parsecs!

Yeah this card is sweet. Probably will see play in a ton of formats, standard, edh, etc.

Almost without fail, older champions are simply worse than newer champs.

Ashe, Amumu, Corki, TF and Alistar are all some of the best champs in the game.

And don't even get me started on Mordekaiser.
    /rant.

Morde isn't even a good champion! Look at all the tier lists - no cc, no team utility, doesn't really fulfill a role well...

    Just sayin'.

Here's an article about how to tweak the deck on a $20 budget. Maybe what you're looking for.

Who the heck makes a Vampire hex proxy?:D

These are really sweet. The style on these is cool, and in particular I think that the vampire hexmage one looks so epic. I might have to copy this and try it myself!
