so basicaly good pairings overall and got rewarded for ignoring dredge and tron
the losses where against storm, nauseam and ur breach, they are favourable but those where the rounds where i took more mulligans, missed landrops or couldnt cast spells because of mutavault
overall im happy with the list, thoughtseize is very good turns 1-2 but later in the game you cant afford the 2 life in a race or to waste mana and not making him discard a card because the 1 or 2 cards he has in hand are lands
i think 4 muta + 4 urborg its to greedy and 24 lands are to many
infernal tutor as a one of was quite good, helps a lot in topdeck mode and its fine without hellbent
4 skeins and 4 reckoning might be 1 to many because sometimes you just want 2 or 3, but the 4th copy its gold when you need to see one of them in order to win the game (white leyline, humans, etc)
i liked the list but i could see myself cutting the 3rd brutality for a packrat or something
11-3 at gp madrid with 8rack! good for 11th place, it was teams but my record was also 11-3

Finally! Someone else that plays an infernal tutor! Since adding it to the deck a year ago, i have never taken it out. I expect more players to start using it soon. Well done on your 11-3!
Thoughts on replacing Funeral Charm with Blackmail?
Blackmail lets us see part of their hand AND it allows us to discard a land card.
I keep finding myself dissatisfied with Funeral Charm, but perhaps I'm missing something or I just haven't seen the right scenario for it.
The thing that i enjoy about Funeral Charm outside the 3 modes is it is a 1 mana INSTANT which majority of the time you are playing to either kill/buff a creature or discarding a card. If you choose to discard, you can activate during your opponent's draw step if they have nothing in their hand. It can keep them hellbent for a turn or so which can be vital in some match-ups if you get there.
never tried blackmail, but funeral charm seems too solid! i don't think i wanna cut any of the 2 copies i play..every mode is useful (sure, the swampwalk only in rare cases), but it the +2-1 has been way better than i thought, it lets you trade a mutavault for big creatures like TKS,and is always unexpected because not every 8 rack deck plays them.
A question : about graveyard hate, is there a unique sentence on which is better between leyline of the void and nihil spellbomb?
Personally, I've found more success in Leyline of the Void. The ability to auto drop it from your hand on turn 1 is very relevant against Dredge. Allowing you to drop Leyline and still go turn 1 Thoughtseize/Inquisition is much better than just playing a Nihil Spellbomb in my opinion. Essentially if you don't mulligan into your Leyline you are dead period.
I replaced a thoughtseize with one copy of blackmail, and never looked back
i love the look of this. Supreme will seems a great way to dig for the missing pieces. im currently playtesting a mardu version of the deck, utilizing bloodchief ascension over the guildmage
Video is ok, play is suboptimal but decent for someone who doesn't pilot this deck all the time. I think how many fatal push vs dismember main is directly rated to what your expecting in the meta game. If I expect to face a ton of etron, bant eldrazi, bigger cmc midrange decks I would pack more dismembers. In this current meta I'm a 4 fatal push guy main maybe 1 dismember as well.

Ixalan gives us a new rack of sorts, in the form of Raiders' Wake. It is more of a machine gun rack as it is repeatable, giving a shock effect for each discard spell you play and successfully land. It also works when you attack. The only downside, the cost. Four mana might be too prohibitive for the current builds of 8Rack.
4 mana is way to high. if you wanted an effect like this, liliana's caress is just so much better
