Ugh. So many words to read, and so little time. I'm just gonna start with my T/S list and work from there.
King Torg
Tau
Killjoy
Shadow
A Bear
Colin
Tubba Fett
DoTA
Jenna Tolaria
(specific order doesn't matter, just the tiers)
Vote: Jenna Tolaria
Jenna has consistently been cryptic and nonproductive with their posts. It seems like their posts are being purposely confusing with the phrasing, abbreviations, and quoting methods. All in all, it just seems like really scummy behavior.
I'm willing to lynch Jenna, DoTA, Osi, and maybe Tubba if it comes to it. DoTA and Osi are my two main targets, and it looks like an Osi lynch is more supported so far so Vote: Osieorb18
So...12 hours to deadline and we have 3 people all sitting at 3 votes. -_-
A Bear, Osie, Dota. With the activity in this game right now I don't have confidence in my ability to lead a different lynch, so one of those will have to do.
Osie: The "scummiest" of the three, but I just don't see him as a good day one lynch.
Dota: Lower activity, and I really don't know what to make of him.
A Bear: Notably being wagoned by Vaimes, Voxx, and Osie, which makes me o.O
The frustration I can completely understand too.
Ugh. Vote Reaverb
I need every person willing to lynch either Reaverb or Jenna to chime in and vote within a couple hours. More people have expressed willingness to lynch reverb that I remember so that's what I'm going to try for. If we can't make it then we'll pick one of the above.
I agree with the majority of this. I'd be willing to lynch Jenna. I'm not sure about Tau. I'll do a quick ISO of him in a bit.
Not sure what "a professional mafia player" is and how I gave them the impression I was one.
Well, a professional mafia player is (I assume) someone who plays mafia for money. That said, what I meant was "experienced mafia player." My bad.
And as I said before, I honestly don't know why.
In the same post that you say Osie is getting progressively townier you call him scum "for lack of stronger reads right now". Why arent you voting for Osie then?
Just because Osi is getting progressively townier doesn't mean he's not scum, it just means that at a later date I might read him as town. If I had to pick a scum team right now, Osi would be a part of it. However, you are also part of it, so I'm voting for you.
I'll try to post more in the morning when my body is (hopefully!) not actively trying to kill me.
I'm gonna do my best to make an okay post, but I'm super sick so bear with me here.
@DoTA Sorry, for some reason I looked at you and was like: "yes, he is a professional mafia player." I honestly don't know why. You're right that you didn't jump on the shadow wagon per say, but your original vote was definitely RVS and you only confirmed your vote in post 52, once the wagon was L-3. Sorry if that wasn't clear the first time I said it.
I tried to read page 4 like 6 times and got about nothing out of it, so I'm just gonna try to quickly respond to anything that is directed at me.
King Torg is someone I wouldn't trust with a secret.
First of all, I'm offended! I'm great at keeping secrets! (which is why none of you know I'm scum)
Hum.
I know you played in that train wreck of a basic, but what's your mafia experience otherwise? I guess I could ISO you in that game to see if it's mentioned.
That's all I've played in so far. What does ISO mean?
@Whoever asked me for my read on Osi and Voxx Osi's 1st few posts seemed pretty scummy to me, but appears to be getting steadily townier. For lack of stronger reads as of right now, I'd say he's scum. As for Voxx, I've kind of been not paying attention to him at all. I'm going to read through him post by post to get some info and make a read list when I feel a bit better.
It feels like he's just trying to say stuff on the pretense of being a part of things.[/spoiler]
I mean, I guess that's true? If I posted more content, I'd say you were straw-manning my arguments. As is though, I'm not sure what purpose this part of your post holds. Any opinions on whether I'm town or scum?
@Killjoy I played the newb mafia game on this site, and it kinda sucked, so I'm giving it another shot in this game. That's it.
I don't really know what scum!DoTA would be trying with that post, but I know that it's not a town move at all. There's no way an experienced player like DoTA would just hop on an L-3 wagon with the justification that "shadow is scary." My best guess is that he was trying to generate negative shadow vibes for a future myslynch or something like that.
Why is there a wagon on Shadow? The only case I'm seeing used against him so far is: he is good at mafia, therefore we should lynch him. (That's not a good reason to kill someone, just FYI)
well, gg I guess. I played terribly, but it was my first game so whatever.
Speaking as a new player, I do think continuing to do these is a good plan, but doing it on a smaller scale and incorporating DV's suggestion would probably make them better and more accessible. I know that as a new player I was fine with the time commitment for the first month-ish, but then the commitment was slightly too large to be a productive townie. It looks like that was reflected in a lot of the other new players as well.

I'll elaborate more later.

I mean, was there anything to say? He gave reasoning, which was the only thing I had wanted from him, so I unvoted.
Hell yeah I did.

Yup yup. Until then, got any thoughts on DoTA or Osi so far?
Second, Dota's comments in 52 worry me. That's not the kind of logic an experienced town player should use to justify a lynch. Vote: DoTArchon.
Unvote
Tau's first posts seem awkward and over-explanatory. Or it could just be him trying to be nice. Either way, Vote:Reaverb Tau
Hopefully, there will be more than two posts a week this time around.

I'm sorry I lynched you DV, I was being dumb.
