While my friend and I had a classic Soul Sisters vs. Affinity battle, a situation came up where we didn't quite know the right ruling. Here is the situation:
I had a Stony Silence in Hideaway from Windbrisk Heights with at least three creatures attacking (3x 1/1 flying spirits)
I declared my attackers, and I tapped 1x Plains and tapped Windbrisk Heights to cast Stoney Silence. He responded with tapping his Springleaf Drum to tap his Etched Champion to create a Green mana. Stoney Silence came onto the battlefield and then he then tapped one of his islands while his green mana was floating and cast Naturalize on my Stoney Silence. Is this all properly done? I feel like he did make all the correct steps, but we weren't sure.
My opponent attacks with his/her Grizzly Bears and I blocked with my Festering Mummy. After my Festering Mummy dies, can i put a -1/-1 counter on Grizzly Bears which would result in it dying? Thanks!
My opponent attacks with a Grizzly Bears and I blocked with my Festering Mummy. After my Festering Mummy dies, will I be able to put the -1/-1 counters on the Grizzly Bears, which would result in killing it?
Thanks!
I figured everything was done correctly. He got the best of me there then!
