I would agree with that about most cards, but for the sake of ishkanah, i feel it removes some complexity and makes it a simple "army in a can" with reach, especially since delirium is such a debate. By removing it, the card becomes much simpler to evaluate.

But, ill agree that personal erratas make things more complicated and mean peeps need to remember more things (like i would never add to a card if i were to adjust one, ive heard of peeps adding exalted to exalted angel flr the flavor of it)

What about the ol, sharpie route, and just blacking out the words "Delirium" and "if there are four or more card types among cards in your graveyard" from the text on your true fit encasing the card? While i dont personally have any custom cards, i could see this being a reasonable edit.

I bring it up because ive seen custom cards brought up within cubes, or even rules tweaks like leaving damage on the stack, or using cards as they were in the past, like when people used to use beserk as a free removal. Editting this card to be slightly more cube friendly doesnt seem too off the path

That seems to be the gist with baloths. Peeps like playing it, so ive kept it in, but i do feel like its more of a seven drop that may only net you a 4/4.

I decided to drop vigor for it, as it just does more for the same amount of mana. Decent trample body, card advantage, works with reanimator and wildfire, plus the occassional extra mana is nice if you maintain the monarch and have extra cards. Custodi lich was a house the last few drafts, so im hoping this guy can do some work too

Im currently running three 6CMC green spells: primetime, rampaging baloths, and vigor, but im looking to sneak in the regal behemoth as a 4th. Is that too many at 480?

Edit- all though, ive also been considering trading our vigor all-together. Hes a bit of a pet card, but not so good outside of a wildfire strat, or pushing past a barricade with other growing tramplers while they trade damage for more power, but thats not reliable

Ive been looking to add this guy since he was first revealed, but i feel like i already have enough 6 drops in green.

Is there such a thing as too many 6 drops?

So whats the verdict on this guy? Too narrow, or an okay harmonize?

While the life loss is negligible, i prefer sarcomancy over carnophage because the life loss can be mitigated easier. while black does prefer bodies over enchantments, i dont see myself frequently reanimating 1 drop 2/2 or 2/1s, unless they can do it on their own. and like you had mentioned, the extra permanent does aid towards stax and occasionally blink for more Zombies if you're into that.

While gnarled can put an extra point for goyf and potentially bestow, i think id drop it for dread wanderer. Zombies for life yo

    Tl;dr
I feel that sarcomancy is slightly > carnophage and dread wanderer > gnarled scarhide

So, do we play both or what

I came to this thread to figure out if i want to pick up a diamond, but i dont know if its been answered :[

Also i feel like if you cut a land for the diamond, your just setting yourself up to have one less land in hand to be pitched and have a 5 spell, diamond land hand which would suuuuck fat ones

Being able to bolt down a titan to be a more reasonable thrrat or take out indestructible threats with burn is nice too.

Cool cool. I just wasnt sure if peeps had a more clear idea on its value after testing time

To me, its looks like a utility all star for the grindier control or even just a solid tempo piece. I like galepowder mage, but like someone has posted before, seige gang likes to etb

Necroing a bit, but I dunno if it was mentioned, but it does stop agressive equip strats, especially ones that rely on swords, because of its devoid.

Since this was last discussed, how do people feel about it now? I think its some sweet tech personally
