One question; is thought-knot seer good enough on its own? I was talking to a more modern savvy friend and he was saying I should run TKS maindeck in my mono white version, but I am hesitant to run it alongside restoration angel, because I want my curve to end relatively low, and having more than 4 four-drops seems like the wrong way to go.
Thanks for the advice @D90Dennis14. I completely forgot about Eldrazi Displacer because for some reason my mind thought that it was only playable in Eldrazi & Taxes. I don't know if Eldrazi temple is worth it though, because it is only better than something like Blinkmoth Nexus, Mutavault, or Sea Gate Wreckage when I have a Displacer in hand, which I probably will only play 3 of. I also need to be careful not to play too many colorless sources, even if I am mono white.
Hello everyone, this is my first time posting here, and I'm a complete newbie to modern. With standard slowly dying in a hole, I am going to sell out of Standard (I own a GB energy deck ~$300 total). I am going to start at a mono white taxes variant playing vial.
My one question in, there are multiple lists i've seen that run different 3 drops. Are some better than others in an untested meta(because I'll be playing at an lgs probably)? The main ones i've seen are:
Flickerwisp (which I know is essential);
Mirran Crusader (which looks good against death's shadow);
blade splicer (which I think looks better in a vacuum but unsure in play than mirran);
Brimaz (which looks really good imo);
Aven Mindcensor (which I don't know how good it is);
Vryn Wingmare (which looks like additional thalia effects but not good on its own);
I've see some people playing modern at my lgs and I've seen jund, ad nauseum, multiple tron, uw control, merfolk, and infect. Which 3 drops are better than others? Sorry if this is a stupid question. If it matters, i am running 2-3 copters maindeck, still testing out how many.

The main flex slots are the Aven Mindcensor and Vryn Wingmare. I'm also not completely sold on Selfless Spirit.
