When Solemnity was spoiled. One of my friends began talking about it's many uses and about a combo Dark Depths to cheat Marit Lage into play.Later, I began thinking about how that same thing could be used to flip Thing in the Ice. Solemnity stops counters being put on creatures so when Thing in the Ice enters and it's ability puts counters on it. Those counters would not go on causing the next Instant or scorcery spell we cast to flip Thing in the Ice to Awoken Horror. The best part is that Thing in the Ice and Awoken Horror are both Horrors so they do get hit by Awoken Horror's ability.
I envision a deck like this being a control deck utilizing the many board wipes in standard such as Fumigate, [card]Descend upon the Sinful
[/card], as well as Awoken Horror's ability to return all non Horror creatures to their owner's hands to control the board along with spells like Immolating Glare for more precise affects.
Thinking more, I think If I'm on the draw I can kill you with the beast token since you won't have any blockers. I think you are right in my match with tom.
vs. 02 Convoy_Avenger 0-6, Apostles Blessing coupled by the fact that when I play orb, you can play your dreadnought.
vs. 03 eFurlong 6-0, I'm faster
vs. 04 HerziQuerzi 3-3, Even with Death Touch, trample kills you. On the draw I'm to slow.
vs. 06 NemataGG 0-6, I agree
vs. 07 tomsloger 3-3, Agreed
vs. 08 Tarox Bladewing 3-3, On the play I out race you, on the draw I'm not fast enough.
vs. 09 WhammeWhamme 6-0, I agree
I think overall I did well. My big downfall was not being able to hard counter something, force spike worked really well as a delay tool, but not so much as a game saver. Mental Misstep would have won me some games, and lost me others
Edit, fixed some mistakes with HerziQuerzi and Tarox
Edit 2, Apostles Blessing would have been a much better choice than Force Spike now that I have seen it's power and seen what others brought.

Having access to blue would give us counters, and card draw. Spells like Anticipate, Unsummon, Clutch of Current, Contingency plan, or Dramatic Reversal.
Thoughts?
