My question:
Would Pride Sovereign untap during my next untap step? Or is he still considered exerted even though I untapped him with an outside source after exertion?
If I use The Scarab God to eternalize a creature with */* (like Crusader of Odric), will it be a 4/4 or will the copy of Crusader's P&T be equal to the # of creatures you control? Basically, how does the 4/4 from eternalize effect creatures who's P&T are determined by another source? Like, would Tarmogoyf be a 4/4, or a */*+1?
If I am casting Cryptic Serpent, and I have an aftermath card in the graveyard, does the Serpent cost 1 or 2 less to cast? The specific aftermath card that was in my yard was Never//Return (I can't get the card tag to work on this one, sorry.)
I have a couple of questions regarding Bomat Courier .
Say I swing twice with a Courier, then it gets destroyed and I don't have the mana to activate it. Could I play a second one to get my cards back from exile, or does each individual Courier need it's own exile pile? Because it says return all cards exiled with Bomat Courier to your hand and doesn't say this card.
I guess the next question will have the same answer as the first: If I am attacking with multiple Couriers, do they need separate piles?
I took 2 from the Gifted Aetherborn.
He gained 2 from the Aetherborn's Lifelink.
My question is: Do I lose another life from the Vampire even though it was killed in battle? How does the timing work for triggered abilities during the cleanup phase and how is priority determined?
Ok, so I have Desolation Twin and the 10/10 token on the battlefield. On the next turn, I cast Altered Ego with X=2. If I choose to copy Desolation Twin and enters as a 12/12, does the copy gain the creature's ability to put another 10/10 token on the battlefield?
Edit: The enchantment that was already on the field won't trigger, of course. Any object refering to itself by name only means itself, not any other objects that happen to have the same name.
Sure. I was referring to playing one, getting the counters, and then maybe on the next turn play the other on so my creatures will get another +1/+1 counter.
Next question:
If I play Sram's Expertise and use the second part to cast Oath of Ajani, how does that play out? In other words, does Oath of Ajani go on the stack on top of Sram's Expertise? If that's the case, then the Oath will resolve before the Tokens are created and they won't get the buff from the Oath. Or does Sram's Expertise have to resolve before I can cast the Oath meaning the Tokens will get the buff?
Sorry for the confusion, I am trying to put together some really good combo synergy.
704.5k If a player controls two or more legendary permanents with the same name, that player
chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners’ graveyards. This is called the
“legend rule.”
I am aware of how this works on creatures, but I have a specific situation with an enchantment I would like some clarity on:
If I have Oath of Ajani on the battlefield and play another (I know one has to go to the graveyard), does the second one trigger?
T3 - I play Pride Sovereign
T4 - 1st main - I pay W,t, Exert Pride Sovereign: to create 2 cats
T4 - Still 1st main - I cast Djeru's Resolve on Pride Sovereign
T4 - Combat - I tap Pride Sovereign to swing in for 4, combat resolves, opponent takes 4, I end my turn.
I'm good on all that.
My question:
Would Pride Sovereign untap during my next untap step? Or is he still considered exerted even though I untapped him with an outside source after exertion?
Never // Return is a double sorcery.
Thanks for the responses.
This card was almost really good.

He attacked with Gifted Aetherborn and Cliffhaven Vampire. I blocked and killed the Cliffhaven Vampire.
