i don't watch war films for anti-war meanings. i watch war films to see history through the eyes of those that were there, and especially if they can be told by someone with great vision. saving private ryan is my all time favorite war movie.

i think if there was an anti-wat example, i'd have to say glory. i know i personally wouldn't want to get involved or see another civil war.

i'd like to see the escalator sequence. they could've made it a momentary comedy if they cast jason lee as brody from mallrats, and let him go on his diatribe about kids and escalators.

aside from my silly rant from insomnia, it did manage to be number one at the box office, with almost $30 mil. i was half expecting to see halloween 2 being tops, but the theater me and my wife were in was hardly even half full.

uwe boll has only handled crappy horror/video game films, and honestly, not all of his films are that bad. otherwise, people wouldn't be having fan clubs for the guy.

as a guy ritchie fan myself, i'm looking forward to seeing this, as it's different from what he's done before (snatch, lock stock, etc).

And Balut is gross, but I'm also a vegetarian, sooo... It only makes sense from my point of view. As for you meat-eaters, what's the difference? Wink

    to each their own.

since you're a vegetarian, i can finally ask this: after you've eaten your vegetables, what do you do with their wheelchairs afterwards?

i'd rather tar up my lungs than buy a pack of homelands. i know what i'm getting out of a pack of smokes, i don't want to open crap like grandmother sengir. she could use an iron lung, or three.

and as for the guy that said that smoking lowers physical fitness: i've known guys that smoke like chimneys and run marathons.

sometimes, it's not always food. one of my good friends that i used to work with had a thyroid disorder, and he hardly ate at all. and he weighed over 300 pounds. regardless, he was always confident, and never had any problems scoring with women.

i met his girlfriend before he left to go back to wisconsin, and she was, in fact, a fox.

emo or not, skinny jeans have for the most part meant for girls. i'm an 80's kid, and those were the height of fashion. i just hope they bring back jellies for guys...*shudders*

as for me, i like boot cut, loose fit, and baggy. even though i'm 5'11" and 180-185, i have wide quadraceps. i wish i could have chicken legs. i also have a liking towards camouflage pants, too.

i smoked crushes on occasion, and they weren't bad at all. i'm not really surprised about the brain cancer though. why can't it be the lung cancer we've all hoped to croak from?

i was too busy watching halloween 2 with the wife. though 3d films are the new craze, and from what i've heard, they've become very well done. i'd still like to get coraline on dvd with the set of glasses for me and my family.

i'll have to see if i can check this out as well. thanks for the breasts up!

  • posted a message on Who is the Best James Bond and why?
when you go back to bond's origin, bond's not going to be perfect right from the start. he's going to make mistakes, get his ass kicked, and so on. regardless, he's always managed to survive, even though m wanted to kill him on plenty occasions, i'm sure.

i like how craig made bond suave without being clean cut and smooth. he was rough around the edges, and came off as being a chain-smoking, hard drinking badass who'd kill you if you looked at him the wrong way, and if you have a girlfriend/wife, he'll charm them at the same time.

brokencyde kind of remind me of mindless self indulgence, though clearly msi's much better than this group. that, and i've been listening to msi for over a decade now, though msi still has one of the worst fanbases out there. people are going to listen to what they want to listen to, no matter how other criticize it.

though some modern hip-hop is okay, i miss the 80's and 90's where music was good, even silly one hit wonders. and 90's hip-hop was some of the best. with the exception of kanye, some lil wayne, or akon, i really don't listen to much. one of the best hip-hop groups right now is atmosphere.

don't blame yourself for every little thing, and don't make yourself the focus for every little tiff that happens in your family's personal problems. if anything, suggest counseling to your family. maybe that will work.
