just wanted to introduce myself. i have been playing MTG Off and on since High school, i was probbably most acitve during the end of the Zendikar Block and Begining of the Inistrad block through just after RTR where i ran into some personal issues along with the theft of 5 of my 7 decks and decided to quit for a while. now that im in a more stable situation i am starting to inch back in but between RTR and now things have changed more than i could have expected. ive always stayed more to the Casual, Modern and EDH Formats. back in the Zendi block when i got real involved i tended to gravitate to Mono Black field control Vamps or Mono Green Ramp Eldrazi. during RTR i leaned Heavy on the Golgari Builds and for modern i ran the self mill and dredge mechanics. recently i have started to branch into Black/Red Vamps (and i see a pattern emerging lol)
but anyways i have joined to start learning more about the more recent developments in mechanics and possibly probe for deck build ideas not native to my area, we seem to have an issue with recycling EDH decks and stagnant Tourneys with few original ideas.
