Field of the Dead seems like it has too many drawbacks to really be playable outside of a dedicated landfall deck. It's nonbasic, produces colorless, enters tapped, and needs 7 lands with different names before you even get its payoff, which is just a 2/2 zombie. Even in decks that can use the zombie as sac fodder this just doesn't feel like it hits the mark. Too weak IMO.
I used to have a deck built around this and Gratuitous Violence, since that could be 7+ damage in one turn. The problem is that the other cards in the deck, while impressive in formats with 20 life, just didn't cut it in Commander. When was the last time you saw someone build an EDH deck with cards like Akroan Crusader and Ash Zealot?
That aside, this would probably be alright in a deck with Seismic Assault, although those decks probably have more broken things they could be doing.
I'm trying to support a Bolster archetype and I'm having trouble deciding which cards that give all creatures +1/+1 counters are better. Together Forever also seems appealing but I'm not sure if it would be a better include.
I have a Neheb, the Eternal deck that centers around fireballs. It usually tries to win before the game goes too long, and is generally not very interactive. I'm wondering which card is better for this kind of strategy: Endless Atlas or Temple Bell? Moreover, how do they rank against something like Fateful Showdown, which is 4 mana, reliant on hand size, and only useful when Neheb is out.
When I first saw Isolated Watchtower, I thought it was going to be a shoe-in for any deck not running green. But apparently not that many people play it, so I'm curious: how has it performed for you?
Sundered Holiness {1}{B}
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature
When Sundered Holiness enters the battlefield, target opponent sacrifices a creature.
Whenever a creature an opponent controls dies, put a +1/+1 counter on enchanted creature.
I've run [[Smoke]] before and have come up with disappointing results. A lot of the time, all it takes is one untapped creature to kill you in a format so populated by Voltron variants.
The utility goes up the more colors your commander has. As it stands I wouldn't run it outside of a 4+ colors deck but I could see it being played in a budget 3-color deck.
Although I don't think Vex actually saw play and this design would be potentially weaker than Arcane Denial, so it wouldn't be too overpowered to see print.
Chandra's Regulator, on the other hand, is probably going to replace Dismissive Pyromancer in every Red EDH deck I own.
That aside, this would probably be alright in a deck with Seismic Assault, although those decks probably have more broken things they could be doing.

Next: Slum Reaper

You forgot hybrid cards like Lurking Informant and Memory Sluice.
