For those talking of a possible flip-flop, remember that no final decision was ever made. The message we received in the Gutter was that it had been closed until further notice. I don't think anyone will look bad for coming to a final resolution.
Well if they drag there feet and dont come to a resolution they will look bad no matter what and will be seen as a "wait long enough and they will give up" So far (which per say might be a good think for them) the only one that really spoke in here has been yukora.
Theoretically, this is true. However I have very good reasons to believe that what I said about the moderators that do post in the gutter providing inside information to the gutter, as well as colluding with the gutter in their attempts to troll the rest of the forum (yes what they do is trolling, no matter how polite it may seem, that is how they attempt to disguise their trolling). Whether you believe me or not is entirely up to you, and I cannot force you to believe me. But rest assured the Moderators know I am right, the Gutter knows I am right, and I know I am right. The only thing is that I am one of the few willing to admit that I am right.
Thinking you have good reason is still in that an assumption. And also you admitting to us that you are right doesnt in fact make it right at all as it isnt a fact or legit form of information. It is still in fact an assumption.
When the gutter is involved Drama is par for the course.
Still doesnt make it right to cause more drama. You dont put out a fire with propane. You dont stop a flood with water, and 2 wrongs dont make a right ever. No matter how right you think you are.
For the record. I have seen the inside of the Gutter for myself. My assumptions as you call them, are not baseless as you would believe. Those among the Gutter who were around while I was the Moderator Helper of the EDH Staff are well aware of the fact that I had been inside of the Gutter. So there is that.
The end part wasnt directed at you BUT cause you like to think it was I am seeing that your going to be taken everything as a personal attack. You being a Moderator helper for a subforum really didnt even need to be listed in this as it never mattered. Ok you were inside. Congrats to you. But the way your posting still says you never saw everything and only saw what you wanted to see and amplifyed that to be much worse. But no matter what anyone would say your mind is pretty much going to be and always will be by your responces here dug in.
EDIT: We now apparently also have to contend with the fact that the Moderation Staff who regularly posted in the Gutter (Azrael, and Kijin apparently), may have been leaking information from the Moderator Lounge to the Gutter as is apparently evident by the post by Azrael where he mentions that the infraction that Woapalane issued had not been reversed in this very thread. This is a clear attempt to insite drama and if I am not mistaken is something that is normally against the rules for mods to do?
This would of gotten them de-modded and possiably worst as this is a big no-no no matter the location. Your responces seam to be driving more drama then solving as you seam to have a vendatta against the section.
Alot of people can start throwing assumptions all they like but unless they actually have seen it yourself its just that assumptions. And alot of the arguments against the section can also be applied to 50% or more of this site.
Whats ironic about this entire thread is that most of the pro-gutter people have been very well spoken, actually willing to work something, find common ground. While the anti-gutter seams to be just throwing mud, making assumptions cause they never were inside there, or looking to cause moe drama on heresay.
To me if the true spark of "this was the last straw" that closed everything cause of calling into question the way the mods have done there jobs then I can say there is no faith in the current set up of the way mod, global, admins and such are being done. And call into question the entire system as a whole.
If the spark was something truely legit. Then there is no real argument here. But pulling the past out as the reason is like still bashing germany cause of ww2, still bashing the britian for the colonies, and such. Cant hold the past as a prime reason when those reasons have been corrected.
Its also hard to take his skill seriously:
1) When the only decks he plays is a Blade style deck
2) when asked about the formats his responces are clear indicators he really has no clue
3)*major* Has a very shady background from his yugioh days. Im not saying a one time accused of cheating. but Many times of accused and caught cheating, Caught with stolen cards from the SJ events, and has the feeling of you must watch him 110% of the time when he is around you or in game.
It also doesnt help that once a few cards in his deck got nailed he pretty much dipped in the amount of top 8s. Also the only time you see a top 8 from him is in low and behold a SCGopen series event.
He may actually play well and above average but his past still can be reflected now.
I always thought this was a stupid card... And I know, okay. Dark Rit, Entomb, Exhume.
Aside from dudes, what am I missing that makes this card $40?
The fact its a back bone to a major archtype in legacy, the ability to be an enabler for other plans like Life from the loam, and any other plan that involves the use of getting certain cards into the graveyard fast. Also the fact that its an instant means you can plan around what your opponent is doing and place the correct card needed to respond into your grave. Be a dredge spell, flashback, or gaint techy dude for reanimation.
5. Stop suggesting that everyone put Tarmogoyf in decks. I mean it. Tarmogoyf is a very good card, but it doesn't belong in every deck, and it doesn't even belong in every green deck, and if you think it does, you suck at deckbuilding. And if you're about to quote this part of this post and say that that's not true, you're a good deckbuilder and Tarmogoyf really does belong in every deck, you're who I'm talking to. Seriously guys, I've had people suggest Tarmogoyf for literally every deck I've posted on this forum since it became popular, including my mono-red Elemental tribal deck and my mono-white damage prevention deck. This is extremely dumb, and it makes it hard to read threads about decks because the signal-to-noise ratio is so low. Stop it.
This is perhaps the worst offender of anything. I am tired of making new decks and me asking friends and such for help and there only help is "Needs more Tarmogoyf..."
