I noticed in the SCG article about the disappearance of Jund that the decklist the author suggests plays neither K-command nor Ancient grudge, how were they planning on dealing with artifacts?
These opened at $9.99 a piece on tcgplayer. LOL budget lands
Okay, if someone is honestly dumb enough to pre-order cards in this day and age they deserve all the financial pain they get. It would be one thing if the pre-orders arrived on the day of release, but the reality is that someone pre-orders cards, sits on their butt for over a month and a half, then MIGHT get the cards assuming the flurry of envelopes leaving the poor single sellers door actually make it through the post office mail organizing machines. That and prices can go on a roller coaster during pre-order season.
However, this is basically me retreading the old waters of trying to make a post, praying to gods that it gets seen on google search, and lambasting a completely unknowing thread poster with a preachy diatribe on the problems of pre ordering when they agree the pre-order price is ridiculous. Such is the pains of the interwebs.
These are definitely going to bomb out once pack openings start. They rank only slightly higher than a temple land and that's only because they can cycle.
Yeah I have literally never pre-ordered a card I just thought it was funny that there's a seller out there trying to pawn these off for $10 a piece
More coherent sound to me like "more facile and one-dimensional"
Why can't Innistrad be a continent instead of a plane? Or Theros? Or Shandalar? They could still do sets specific to these places, but it would open so many story-telling opportunities. Imagine some viking from Kaldheim ferry across the sea to conquer Theros, or some Takiri warlords invading Kamigawa. Sound much more authentic and appealing to me than the fatuous power ranger-story they are telling at the moment.
If all of the planes were just continents in the same world, the whole concept of planeswalking is just dead. Given that the Planeswalkers are the face of magic, this is a terrible idea.
Just put me on ignore if you're going to be overly-sensitive, it's as simple as that, you're free to do so. You shouldn't be upset if I'm laying out simplified data and pointing out where the deck is and where it needs to go from here. Chaos and Cfremont are also very free to put me on ignore if you'd like, I'm not offended by it. I'm glad Flyer is at least seeing where Jund needs to go and what to brainstorm
Its not overly sensitive to get annoyed that you come into a jund forum to talk about how much better other decks are. Im not even saying that you are wrong about the meta, but you literally come here daily and say mostly negative things about jund. Its annoying. Maybe you should try taking responsibility for yourself instead of telling people to just block you
What. No. You are significantly unfavored, The deck is doing similar things with lingering souls. It's definitely junds worst fair matchup.
Lol. Ok.
You can patronize all you want, there's plenty of articles out there by sites like Channelfireball and Starcity claiming the same thing
Why is it that every time I see you on this thread you are always talking about how much better Junk and DSJ are? If you dont like Jund why are you here? Im not saying that only positive things should be allowed in discussion but if you only ever have negative things to say about the deck that this thread is dedicated to, why are you coming here in the first place?
I should have probably getting it, for reals. Instead I'm sitting on a ton of what I knew for certain wouldn't be reprinted, Hierarchs and Karns and Vials and Explosives, all moving in the correct direction.
Mishra's Bauble was my only miss so of course I'm salty about not having a perfect record on calling these sets. If you maintained my level of excellence, any little mistake would gnaw at you, too. I got in on a set of Bauble's yesterday early morning after the Signets were spoiled but frankly I'm not sure it will be shipped to me, it hasn't yet.
So back to the original intent of my post, the majority of this set's value has all been printed in much cheaper standard sets just the last few years. If you're so new that you don't have that then I suppose it's more understandable to get excited over opening the same cards from $10 packs.
EDIT: For standard I mean
I feel like if I had this sitting on the battlefield without being able to use it to attack itd feel pretty bad.
I mean even if they are played in modern I doubt they will be the same value as the shocks, very few decks will want a playset of these
Yeah I have literally never pre-ordered a card I just thought it was funny that there's a seller out there trying to pawn these off for $10 a piece
The spoilers aren't done either...

Im praying for a BBE unban.
Here's the rest of the spoliers
Man, you are one hell of an arrogant prick.
