I built Thassa with the same combo line this weekend. Our decks are pretty similar, so there's not much I can add. If you would like to see my list, I can link it. I tried to cut things like Conjurer's Closet since they cost so much mana. Have you played this list much? Where do you struggle? Looking at it, I might suggest more board clears to prevent aggro from wiping you out early. You may also want to consider Slithermuse to quickly refill your hand. Tidespout Tyrant also seems better than the Giant as a win con.
Hey Prid3, it's not a question related to the thread z but would you ever criticizing some edh builds? That's where my concentration lies lately and I've always appreciated your insight.
I have finally joined Team Pheldagriff and I'm really excited about playing it at my LGS where decks run between Optimized and Competitive.
One question I have is about MLD. One player I regularly face runs an optimized Windgrace deck that packs a lot of MLD including uncountable spells like Obliterate. I'm running Summary Dismissal, but overall how does this deck beat that strategy?
Have you ever considered finding space for mana dorks? I've built my Karametra deck so that I maximize the chance to play a dork on turn one and follow with another ramp spell on turn two, like Cultivate, so that I can play Karametra on turn three.
I recently built Roon and he's so much better than I thought. My list is more creature heavy than yours and missing some expensive stuff like Drake, but what are your thoughts on Recruiter of the Guard? Also, I have Avenger of Zendikar, but I'm discovering he's mostly being used to block. Is Luminarh Primordial just a better choice?
Seasons Past is basically my favorite Magic card. Would you say that including increases the win rate? I was thinking about building Karador next because I want a strong, grindy card advantage general, but I also love playing politics and control.
Can anyone tell me if the whether the deck is still reasonably competitive without the expensive mana rocks and $50+ plus cards like Earthcraft? Especially considering very few people in my meta has access to those types of cards. I'm seriously considering buying the tutors as that and the super expensive cards are all that I'm missing.
This is a recommendation made off the cuff, I'll try to come back and give a more detailed suggestion later, but I fully advocate moving the deck to B/G, primarily for three things: theDredge mechanic and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Both are self explanatory. The former is a terrific engine and the latter is a formidable win condition. Speaking off card drawing engines, Greater Good is cheaper than its been in years due to Battlebond, draws absurd amount of cards when sacrificing your Mortivores, and adds more creatures to your graveyard.
Additionally,Brawn grants all your creatures trample as long as it is in the graveyard which you want to do regardless.
I finally got to use this deck this week and it worked really well, winning four or of five games.
I still don't really love Sanctum Seekers in the four drop slot, but have been testing a version that uses Pulse Tracker and Dusk Legion Zealot instead of the warriors, since Mindblade Render usually only drew me one or two cards anyway.
Another option, since the ones Prid3 listed are a little too pricey for me at the moment or, like Gonti, aren't aggressive enough, would be to use Howling Banshee. Has anyone played this card? Am I wrong and is it just straight garbage?
Prid3, I really like your builds, but seeing these be makes me wonder how aggressive your meta is. What kinds of decks do you play against and how would you change the first build to compete in a creature heavy environment?
I think the most glaring issue with your deck in its present state is that it appears to be geared more towards one v. one than multiplayer. Cards like Auntie's Snitch are fine whenever you're facing a single player, but look quite anemic when you're starting down three.
Consider playing Grey Merchant of Asphodel. It's not a rogue but the effect is too powerful in a deck that wants to curve out.of It's the only way we get away with playing weak creatures like Pulse Tracker
Another issue you'll fine is that after the first board clear, these types of decks lose steam incredibly fast. Your draw engines help, but I like using Living Death, which are cheap right now from Iconic Masters, to get back in the game. Grim Haruspex is also worth considering.
Thanks, in testing the deck has performed much better than my previous more midrange iteration.
I also took your advice by dropping Pulse Tracker and maxing out the Warriors.
Unrelated to the original topic, do you think Sanctum Seeker is worth including or are there better four drops that I'm missing? It's been a little hit or miss. Either it's very good or doesn't live.
Secondly, Zulaport Cutthroat has, as expected, over-performed, but I'm having trouble figuring out what to cut for number four. What do you all think?
Fingers crossed that they print a Warrior-Vampire Pulse Tracker soon.

I'll add card tags later. Hope this helps.
