I'm getting back into MTG after a roughly 10-year hiatus and have began working on a couple of Pauper decks. I'm currently working on a Mono-Green elf build and while the maindeck accomplishes its goal quite well in most situations, I'm still trying to figure out the best SB selections.
The premise of the deck is to flood the board and swing big with the help of Timberwatch and/or Wirewood Pride. Taunting Elf, Treetop Scout, and Treetop Ranger are good vehicles for making this happen, and most of the testing I've done thus far has had it work nicely.
Since I stopped playing regularly around the end of Kamigawa Block, I'm not as familiar with sets afterward (though I'm getting there). In testing, the only deck it consistently fails against is burn (or decks that incorporate those elements). Lightning Bolts, Firebolts, and other quick burn cards can throw it off early, so I'm trying to figure out the best ways to counteract this.
Other sideboard considerations I have right now include Safehold Elite, Wrap in Vigor, and Luminescent Rain. But I'm looking for something that can protect my smaller creatures or throw off burn and board-clearing cards.
