I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with on this project. It all looks cool right now but there really isn't much to comment on at the moment.

This thing is very, very good. Possibly legacy playable(if not probably). With that said, it would be interesting for standard to give incentive to play blue creature decks more often. I'm getting sick of the constant red creatures and burn, green creatures and ramp and white/black swarms of creatures formula. Anything that helps push some wacky u/g aggro control deck is cool with me. I would much rather have seen this than Fleecemane Lion.

Auria seems perfect to me. I wouldn't touch it.

Niusha's ultimate could potentially be a -4 but either way it seems fine. I don't think it's overpowered by any means.

Liliana's ultimate feels awkward and out of place. I would rather see her -x be her 'ultimate' and give her some sort of 0 ability or -1/2 ability.

Chandra is fine. Could be quite good in a RDW deck, especially to serve as a sort of one sided sulfuric vortex, and has some utility in dealing with creature matchups(particularly things like lingering souls).

All in all these planeswalkers feel pretty good to me. Like I said, the biggest problem I have is with Liliana's ultimate.

I actually like this version of Tibalt a lot, granted it's not harder to make something better or more interesting than the original. As stated before by others I think there is some conflict between the +1 and -3 abilities, but other than that its a nice little niche planeswalker that isn't too bad or too good.

After briefly skimming through some of your cards, mechanics, etc I have to say I'm very impressed with what you've created. You're making me want to get back into working on custom magic sets. I used to do it a lot years ago but I still had a lot to learn back then. I feel like I could create something pretty awesome and seeing what you've done is really inspiring. I'd really love to draft your set. Someone needs to write a program that lets you draft custom sets.

Side note: One thing I noticed in your text spoiler is that on the card Eye of Iamur it says "Shuffle Eye of Kayisha and your graveyard into your library." I'm pretty sure this is a typo. Seems like you probably had a name change at some point and forgot to update the self reference in the text. Just letting you know cause I know how easy it is to slip up and have these kinds of mistakes floating around.

I'm not sure why people would rather be paying an additional 10+ dollars to play blue in standard. Stop complaining and be happy it's a common. It's not like the card is busted in limited, it's just good.

4 turn clocks that evade, survive one of the top removal spells ever printed and can be recurred are never good.

Yeah. Obviously just because he's not good right now means he'll never be anything special and that's that. It's not like we haven't seen this pattern before with other graveyard cards...

Maybe the average Magic player is just not smart enough to build a deck around this guy? Maybe the cards aren't there yet? Either way, nobody said you're supposed to just throw this guy into the mediocre decks that already exist. We have a fresh new meta and nobody wants to explore. If you ask me, a 5/6 flyer for 3 that recurs is worth exploring. Especially when we have a new more balanced jace that actually works better with this guy than JTMS would, and we have a neo ancestral recall that just cycles in the early game and snapcaster mages to make this whole engine come together, including a late game ancestral recall for one extra mana. I expect to see at least some midrangey Ruinator builds popping up in states top 8's this weekend. I know there's nothing to establish the deck so far, but if you ask me, the deck pretty much builds itself. Sooner or later it's going to fall into someone's hands and they're going to remind everybody why blue shouldn't have the most powerful 2 and 3 drops in a format.

Your missing the point. Yes, right now, Goyf sees that much play, but so did p'atog... and Morphling.... and Juzam Djinn

Creatures in Magic are subject to the 'power creep' (if you do not know what that means, ask someone) more than ANY-OTHER card type. Sure, right now 2008, Tarmogoyf is arguably 'the best creature ever printed.' But that WILL NOT be true in 2010, or 2012, or 2014.
As the new, and better creatures come out, people will forget about Gofy. Your clearly a spike, and I bet in 2011 you will not care about Gofy AT ALL.

Your name will not withstand the test of time.

It's 2011 and I'm worth more dollars than ever. Suck it. :p

My homebrew list I've been working on for a few weeks:

Just a few things I want to address before a million people mention them:

    1) I don't think Primeval Titan is all that good or necessary for the deck seeing as by the time I can cast him I don't really need more lands, and Genesis Wave gets me more lands along with beefy creatures, curses and planeswalkers.

    2) I think Rolling Temblor will be good in this format, as well as Curse of Death's Hold, and especially when combined. Is four of each a bit much? Possibly, but it's a very creature heavy meta(even the control decks) and Curse seems like it wrecks a lot more than just aggro when it resolves.

    3) Genesis Wave might be over the top and/or unnecessary, but I'm willing to give it a try. I think it's perfect for a deck like this. Besides, I'm not sure how anything beats it once it resolves, and I am tempted to try boarding in Autumn's Veil against Snapcaster Mage decks to force it through.

    Thoughts?

Back in the day all the theme decks were just 2 rares each and strictly for casual/new players. Be glad they're even attempting to make decks with good/money rares in them these days. Both of those decks have some rares that could potentially rise in money but now won't because they're in the decks. And hey-here's a thought-if you don't like them just don't buy them. Do what real competitive magic players do to get their cards: draft and trade, not whine about event decks.

So much Tempered Steel, Birthing Pod and neo blade on this thread. Really guys? I'm pretty sure Tempered Steel at the very least can't beat all the good artifact hate out there. In fact, Ancient Grudge lays a beating on all three of those decks more or less... If you ask me it's going to look something like this in no particular order:

    1) Neo Solar Flare
    2) R/G Aggro/RDW
    3) Some weird blue aggro or midrange deck that abuses the insane blue creatures just printed.
