Any thoughts on Yawgmoth's Vile Offering? Kinda pricy at 5cmc but does some interesting things. Lets us recur our own PW's or lets us hit our opponents graveyards for their best creature/pw while letting us remove a creature or opposing PW. Like I said its expensive at 5 but does provide a 2 for 1 in its best situation and since it has 2 targets doesn't get blow out by a removal spell or GY exile effect. Probably not worth it but something to talk about.
Edit: Pushed the wrong button Anywho, I don't run either because I don't believe I would win faster by playing Gideon, Ally of Zendikar on turn 3 instead of 4 or even Gideon Jura on turn 4 instead of 5.
@darkdepths - I choose to move Liliana of the Veil to the sideboard because her +1 seems to hurt my game plan more then it helps. Having a Lingering Souls or 6th land to discard is great but discarding land 5 or spot removal just feels bad. I've had games where I cast her t3, immediately -2 then had her sit around on 1 counter for several turns because I couldn't find the right card to discard.
@Eternal_Infinity - I'm considering removing Bitterblossom myself. When it hits t2 its a nice stream of blockers while you get setup but its such a bad top deck I don't think its worth it. I've been thinkin of bumping Wall of Omens to 3 (from 2) copies because at its worst its a 2mana cantrip and at its best it blanks a creature forcing your opponent to spend resources removing it. I'm staying at 1 copy of Sorin, Solemn Visitor because its just a nice backup walker that has a back breaking ult.
Anyone give any thought to Pack Rat? T2 threat that can take over a game and turns late game lands/disruption into more threats.
I have had more success with this current build over my previous build and but I don't know yet if I like Bitterblossom or Night's Whisper. In my opinion they are both fighting over the same slots in the mainboard as I have been completely happy with Wall of Omens. It fits right in with what this deck is trying to do, proactive control. It blanks most 1 and 2 drop creatures and forces your opponent to use resources to remove it while replacing itself.
Night's Whisper is really just +1 card at the cost of 2 life and 2 mana but it does provide card advantage which these colors need and its not a bad top deck in the later turns giving yourself more chances to draw a PW. The life drawback hasn't mattered in any matches I've lost.
Bitterblossom provides an increasingly hard to deal with stream of creatures and can win games by itself by either providing flying attackers or chump blocks until you can get setup. The life loss on this thing is real though and I am on the fence about it staying in the mainboard. In most games its just a slow Lingering Souls that hurts a lot.
Liliana of the Veil just felt out of place in the deck and really cut down on my available resources and lines of play in games I cast her early. I can see her being great against the right opponents though. Maybe I could keep 1 in the mainboard. I don't know tbh
Overall I have been having fun with this deck and hopefully will have more feedback in the next week or so.
Hey Group! I have been playing BW tokens for a while and saw Craig Wescoe's article on BW control and it really peeked my interest. Here is a list built from cards I own and pieces of my old Tokens deck. I would love some critiques and advice on the build. Sideboard is still in the works and I am open for advice on it. I am not a big fan of the Curve currently but I don't know exactly how important it is for this type of list to Curve out. I have also not been a fan of Sorin SV at all. He is helpful but I just feel like there is something better I could be doing with my mana.

I run a RtA version of BW tokens and love the speed and aggression. There is nothing inherently wrong with either version they just have different playstyles. I've recently added 2 Legion's Landing to my build in an attempt to add a grindier element to the deck without costing me $60+. So far it has worked well as a late turn play - Drop, swing, flip. The activation is mana intensive but easy enough to pay and leave mana open for removal when needed. I haven't gotten enough games to say definitively if it's an improvement but as of now I'm happy with it.

Whenever enchanted creature attacks, create a 1/1 white spirit token with flying that's tapped and attacking for each creature card in your graveyard. Sacrifice those tokens at the beginning of the next end step.
I would run Chromanticore. It just looks like such a fun card for a commander. Bestow for versatility and board wipe protection plus a boat load of keywords and all five colors for all the goodstuffs.

I removed a Night's Whisper in favor of a single Collective Brutality. Removed the Timely Reinforcements and added Bontu's Last Reckoning. Shifted Liliana of the Veil to the sideboard for 1 extra copy of both Gideon of the Trials and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and finally removed a single Sorin, Solemn Visitor for another Thoughtseize.
