    Some food for thought:

We've gone away from the Wrench Mind, Shrieking Affliction, The Rack, Blightning, Liliana of the Veil as a four of, and similar plans. However, I'm starting to wonder if the ability to play a Terminate effect that can enhance our game state makes these strategies worthwhile, and Unlicensed Disintegration gives the deck some reach while not always being a dead card (many times Blightning is just a three-mana Lightning Bolt to players only).

What artifact would you suggest using to turn on the burn half of the spell? EE? Ratchet Bomb?

I think he refers to The Rack/ Ensnaring Bridge. Not sure... :p

Well Done! NaveC brings some hand hurt to the ring. It seemed like 2-for-1 discard was waning in effectiveness for a while, but I wonder if Collective Brutality is the trick to bring that mechanic back to bear - one of the issues with Turn 2/3 Discard is that you are allowing some threats to spill onto the board. CB does discard and takes away a board threat. Also, Interesting Transitional Sideboard Tech: Bridge up and Rack 'em Down. Were there some additions of the deck that seemed really shiny for you? Any testing paths on other cards that didn't prove useful?

I agree with Aleix that Anger of the Gods seems like a super addition to your 75.

I was perusing some B/R decks that I tagged as interesting, but not wholly competitive. It's always intriguing to revisit their construction when new sets get released. I may have missed the boat on Collective Brutality getting added to this 5-0 Magic Online League Deck. There's some potential here.

Collective brutality is stupidly powerful, people don't seem to realize this yet. I tried out young pyromancer and bloodghast, obviously with a lower cmc, but they were simply.... underwhelming. Bloodghast is a unique card, but strangely enough, the recursion on it dosent justify its unimpressive body. Young pyromancer, wins the game if he goes unchecked, simply put. However, its a prime removal target, and unimpactful on its own.Young pyromancer is not what I want to be doing on t2- which is demolishing their hand. Also, kolaghan's command feels underwhelming sometimes...perhaps going down a copy and adding a funeral charm in its stead would be a good idea. But alas, affinity is very prevalent in my meta so that seems to be out of the question XD as for anger of the gods, its simply unneccesary.... Its very hard to lose to merfolk with this build. Affinity as well, as they tend to keep very greedy hands. Perhaps as a 2-of in the side? Maybe.
Power discard is still relevant friends, eldrazi winter is over Wink

    Hi everyone
I went 4-0 today at our monday night magic with a blitzkrieg build I developed, inspired by smashpacman's original angler Build. I realise the deck has since took a different direction, but I thought Id share anyway. Also, first mtgsalvation post!

    Decklist:
    Creatures: (5)
    3x gurmag angler
    2x nyxathid
    Planeswalkers: (4)
    4x Liliana Of The Veil
    Sorcery: (19)
    4x Inquisition Of Kozilek
    3x Thoughtseize
    4x Wrench Mind
    2x Blightning
    3x Collective Brutality
    4x Faithless Looting
    Instant (11)
    4x Lightning Bolt
    3x Kolaghan's Command
    3x Terminate
    1x Darkblast

    Sideboard
    4x Ensnaring Bridge
    4x The Rack
    2x Shrieking Affliction
    1x Nyxathid
    4x Ratchet Bomb

    Matchups were as follows:

    Round 1-Bye

    Round 2- Merfolk
Game 1 I dismantled his hand pretty quickly, with a t1 IOK taking his spreading seas. After that he had a hard time recovering and gurmag sealed the game. Game 2 I sided In my "8rack" sb against him, removing my creatire package. He won the game by using hurkyl's recall to attack for the win. Game 3 he kept a one-lander and he was severly punished by my power discard. 2-1 Win

    Round 3- Boggles
Perhaps one of the best matchups for us, a t3 liliana is a game ender. Second game he stole a win when I couldnt find a way to deal with his enormous boggle. Game 3 was very similar to game 1...
    2-1 Win

    Round 4- Abzan Company
Game 1 I cast Gurmag into Wrench Mind into Blightning. It ended quickly after that. Game 2 he abused redcap with township, pinging me to death. Game 3 he kept a one-lander with BOP in hand. T1 IOK into T3 angler sealed the deal,

Overall, I had a blast with this deck, I think Its well suited to my meta. Many thanks to smashpacman for thinking up such an innovative deck!

Good stuff man, it's always great to see The Rack and Shrieking Affliction being used. Especially now, with K-Command seeing a little bit less play than it was when it first got printed. Beating Abzan Company is usually tough because of their game-winning topdecks, so that's impressive!

Thanks! I always did have trouble with company. Right now my biggest problem is dredge- Im simply helpless against it, and was considering leyline of the void as a 3-of in the SB.
