  • posted a message on [Developing] Esper Aggro

Hey guys, I threw this deck together last night. I've been playtesting it, it works pretty well. It's a standard aggro deck, it works best if you drop the sculptors and glaze fiends early. Scourglasses are a one-sided wrath most of the time.

Problems: The mana is a bit iffy, and manabase suggestions? More/fewer nonbasics? I feel like I need more removal sometimes, I was thinking about smothers.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?
This is the first deck I've made from the ground up, as I didn't want to net-deck anymore, and it's right after I got back into playing after a long break, so I'm not wholly familiar with type two at the moment. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Hey, I was wondering if any of you guys had gamertags? We could play TF2 or Halo. It'd be fun.

My little brother's (which I have to use, because I don't have one, really) is cgbspender 1992

I'm stickying this as a database of sorts. This is the place to post your XBox Live Gamertags, Wii Friend Codes, PS3 usernames, Groups, Teams, Clans, etc. If you want to link up with other Salvationers on your favorite next-gen console, this is the place to look.

It's been a while since I checked in, and even though you guys and gals probably don't even care, most things are going well for me. My parents have accepted that this is who I am, and most of my friends have become much more accepting. Thanks

The best era? Hard to say. The 70s-80s, maybe. The worst is much easier, which I would have to say is contemporary. I enjoy mainly rock and country, and there are few, if any, bands which perform songs of these genres which I enjoy around today.

I'd get a tattoo of my face on my chest, and the back of my head on my back.

I bought this game becasue it looked amazing, and I had heard nothing but positive things about it. I had heard that the graphics, the gameplay, and the plot were all groundbreaking. They weren't. This game is nothing but the same thing over, and over, and over again. It gets very boring after the first ten minutes, and the OMG ITS SO COOL I CAN CLIMB UP WALLS feeling dies even faster. The plot seemed to be kind of generic. The only saving grace of this game are the graphics, which are only slightly above average Overall, I would give this game a B-.

    What were your guys opinions?

What are you all going as for halloween? Me and one of my friends are going as Tyler Durden and the Narrator from Fight Club.

    @awfulwafflewalker;

Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I'm at a loss for words as to how somebody could do that to another human being. At least there's a minimal chance that you get a disease. I wish you luck in the future.

My parents sat me down today, and we had a long talk. My dad is still furious and dissapointed, and my mom is very sad and disapointed, but they still love me. I can see how angry they can be, because of how religeous they are, but I am very glad that they are finally talking to me. I'm feeling better every day, just thought that you people would like to know.

I couldn't go, but my brother Haynes went to Neutral Ground and I'm pretty sure he did ok. Did any of you guys play him? He's about six feet tall, brown hair, was wearing a green polo shirt and grey sweat pants.

the family stuff I had to do is now not happening, in part because of my coming out, so I may be able to go after all. Though that is a pretty big may, as my parents may not want me to go anywhere, but seeing as they aren't talking to me, and generally ignoring the fact that I exist, I may be able to go without them caring. so Neutral on saturday, maybe

What indeed? I am depressed by the 'progressive' society I see in mtgsalvation. Such an encouragement of deviation is distressing.

But to answer your question more to the point, I long for the mentality of the space marines from the 'dystopian' warhammer 40K. Narrow mind lends focus, beware the alien, the mutant, the heretic; suffer not the witch to live, &etc.

My ideal vision would have deviants not existing; almost as good is their suppression with a heavy-handed encouragement for them to keep silent and private, as is proper.

And it depresses me to see the statement that it is a deviancy that should be dealt with accordingly is 'backward' and 'repressive.'

You are a deviant for what you practice. So there.

If you are not kidding, which I strongly hope you are, than you are a terrible person on many grounds.

This thread makes me long for the space marines.

    Purge the unclean, & etc.

    What?

On a different note, thank you all for your support, and I believe that I will be able to stick it out to the end.
