Cards I am buying and likely putting in my cube: Weaponize the Monsters - I like it in both a tokens deck, control deck, and a sacrifice deck. Has it all and I like the 2 dmg over 1. Forbidden Friendship - Strict upgrade Flame Spill - I want more 4 dmg burn and this gives the possibility of 2 for 1, i like it Call of the Death-Dweller - I think this will workout well in a lot of decks, especially drain decks Parcelbeast - Mutate is not high on my list, but I think this card has a lot of promise Bastion of Remembrance - I highly support drain decks, this is great Grimdancer - Just solid card
Cards I am buying but still thinking about: Auspicious Starrix - Mutate is questionable, 6/6 for 5 is okay, not sure yet. Lore Drakkis - Mutate is questionable, and in my spells deck I don't have that many creatures to begin with, sure you can play it for an awful body, but if you are doing that you are likely losing anyway Excavation Mole - I already have tons of mill that also have a benefit besides a 3/3 body, but maybe. I like my mill to also give me something back.. so this semi does that, it mills and gives me a 3/3 body, but not super on it yet. Ram Through - I typically don't have green removal tricks, but this one is pretty nice. Boon of the Wish-Giver - Probably one of the better high mana costed draw cards, need to take a look at my list Sanctuary Smasher - I think its too slow, probably not happening Sprite Dragon - Starts slow, but if not removed could do a hurting Migratory Greathorn - Mutate is ?, though I do like the possibility of using a mana dork to ramp on t2 Necropanther - Mutate is ?, however it could work well with a sacrifice/drain deck
Buying, but probably not: Titanoth Rex - Big guy, but I have so many better pay offs, sure its an 11/11 trample, but no protection Void Beckoner - Slow cycling and just not super impressive Boneyard Lurker - Not sure on mutate yet, and I like my current golgari section
Really late to the party here, but these are my adds... I really value the 2 for 1 with the adventure cards and think they will be great advantage.

This is about the same -- occasionally insane in draft, not particularly worthwhile in cube. Cute that it's a drain effect, but it also doesn't actually help your 2/2 attack through their 2/2 unlike Cumber Stone.

They are similar, but I think revenge of ravens is much better. With Cumber Stone and the like you are hoping to reduce the power of your opponents creatures making it harder for them to attack and this will definitely work with 1/x or 2/x creatures... after that I think it’s less effective. Other then reducing the creatures power, there is no real impact to your opponent. With revenge of ravens you don’t reduce the power directly so blocking effectively could be harder, but now there is an attached negative for your opponent to attack and it stacks. Draining your opponent can add up quickly and that is why I like this card.
Not very impressed with this set (for my cube at least).
Audacious Thief - Considering the test, but I don't think it will be worth it. Barkhide Troll - I like that its a 3/3 for 2 (although GG is tough), comes in with a counter which is useful as G/W is my counters matter guild, and can protect itself... just doesn't seem good enough Blood for Bones - I kinda like this as a value reanimate spell, but don't think I want a second conditional reanimate spell where you need to sacrifice a creature Brineborn Cutthroat - Won't make the cut, but picked it up anyway... Chandra, Novice Pyromancer - Uptick uncommon PW with two decent down tick options.. thanks wizards Cloudkin Seer - Probably play it if I can find a cut Corpse Knight - Won't make the cut, but picked it up anyway... Diamond Knight - Likely Won't make the cut, but picked it up anyway... Gorging Vulture - Likely Won't make the cut, but picked it up anyway... Howling Giant - Need to find a cut for this, I cut trostani recently because it didnt fit in my guild section, but I like this for monogreen ramp and reanimate Skyknight Vanguard - Easily in for me Tomebound Lich - In for me, it feels weird running next to shadowmage, may run both or cut shadowmage for this... this works much better for my guild section as it discards as well Vampire of the Dire Moon - Not sure if it will make it in or not, probably not good enough but i like it Cryptic Caves - Probably adding, but lands are so bad in peasant cubes already that another colorless option isn't what I am most excited about
Blood for Bones seems really strong despite the sac a creature cost, its kind of really good for the value reanimator deck rather than cheating things into play.
Black is getting so many great cards this set I am going to have do a reexamination of my black section I think.
I might end up testing him, but I dunno.. we'll see... I could see it being sweet by playing Alpine Guide and next turn before combat playing Rite of the Raging Storm... we'll see
I will look at other peoples lists, but these are the cards I am interested in right now... will add more details and what I am likely going to switch out later...
I am pretty on board with Throes of Chaos. Kinda everything I love about cube in one card, works well in red decks flooding out and in spells matter decks, will definitely test.
Seems like I am interested in like 5-6 cards right now... looking forward to the rest of the set
Reddit and Discord are both *****ty replacements for a real forum. I hope that whatever the mods are cooking is a real forum because otherwise we'll probably be losing an irreplaceable resource.
You can't have a 14.6k post thread on reddit with continuous conversation, and discord isn't really any better.
Both are *****ty, but I will probably just use reddit unless someone has a discord setup and people use it

hope the basic lands in foil aren’t horrendously expensive because I want them

Similar, but the life gain here is key too
They are similar, but I think revenge of ravens is much better. Corpse Knight - Won't make the cut, but picked it up anyway...
Diamond Knight - Likely Won't make the cut, but picked it up anyway...
Gorging Vulture - Likely Won't make the cut, but picked it up anyway...
Howling Giant - Need to find a cut for this, I cut trostani recently because it didnt fit in my guild section, but I like this for monogreen ramp and reanimate
Skyknight Vanguard - Easily in for me
Tomebound Lich - In for me, it feels weird running next to shadowmage, may run both or cut shadowmage for this... this works much better for my guild section as it discards as well
Vampire of the Dire Moon - Not sure if it will make it in or not, probably not good enough but i like it
Cryptic Caves - Probably adding, but lands are so bad in peasant cubes already that another colorless option isn't what I am most excited about
So in the end, only cards I am really excited about are:
Tomebound Lich
Skyknight Vanguard
Howling Giant
Chandra, Novice Pyromancer
Everything else seems pretty meh
Tomebound Lich vs Shadowmage infiltrator Hmmm there can only be one....
Na, I will play both
The uptick is useless, but ill take an uptick uncommon PW any day. This will be solid, mark my words
I might end up testing him, but I dunno.. we'll see... I could see it being sweet by playing Alpine Guide and next turn before combat playing Rite of the Raging Storm... we'll see
Soulherder -> Mistmeadow Witch
Watcher for Tomorrow -> Errant Ephemeron
Ephemerate -> Cloudshift
Faerie Seer -> Omenspeaker
Throes of Chaos -> Electrostatic Field
Orcish Hellraiser -> Burning Prophet
Goblin Oriflamme -> Weapon Surge
Mother Bear -> Wall of Blossoms
Good-Fortune Unicorn -> Trostani's Summoner
Goblin War Party -> Savage Alliance
Recruit the worthy -> Aven Riftwatcher
Rhox Veteran -> Visionary Augmenter
Gluttonous Slug -> Fledgling Djinn
Ransack the Lab -> Read the Bones
Viashino Sandsprinter -> Splatter Thug
Winding Way -> Vessel of Nascency
Alpine Guide -> Monastery Swiftspear
I think this is my plan right now, will update if I see other changes
I will definitely play Soulherder, likely over Mistmeadow Witch
Rotwidow Pack seems promising and fits with my GB GY theme
Urza's Rage probably not for me, I like that it is an instant and can't be countered, but as said above 12 mana is just... not happening
Watcher for Tomorrow is sweet... definitely adding...
Side note, I wish Goblin Champion was battle cry instead of exalted
I think my list right now of possible cards are:
Rotwidow Pack - Seems solid, likely play/test in place of Glowspore Shaman
Soulherder - Seems solid, likely play/test in place of Mistmeadow Witch
Watcher for Tomorrow - In in place of Rise from the Tides
Ephemerate - In in place of Cloudshift
Faerie Seer - In in place of Omenspeaker
Throes of Chaos - Seems solid, likely play/test in place of Savage Alliance
Orcish Hellraiser - Seems solid, likely play/test in place of Burning Prophet
Goblin Oriflamme - In in place of Weapon Surge
Springbloom Druid - Probably not good enough
Mother Bear - Not sure yet, I like the idea and 2/2 bear for 2 is the "bear" pass for stats, the later graveyard ability seems good and works with my color pie ... probably test in place of Wall of Blossoms
Splicer's Skill - Probably not good enough, but may try
Ravenous Giant - I don't think this will be good enough, a lot of my red toppers are haste or deal damage, etc... this just is a 5/5 that gets blocked
Good-Fortune Unicorn - In in place of Trostani's Summoner (Will miss Summoner as one of the great reanimate targets, but really doesn't fit in this guild slot)
Pondering Mage - Probably not good enough, but I do like it may try in place of Tandem Lookout
Goblin War Party - In in place of Electrostatic Field
Martyr's Soul - Not sure about this card now, I was a little hyped, but the more I think about it I think the more its going to not perform...
Valiant Changeling - People are hyped about this, I don't see it happening
Faerie Seer nice replacement for Omenspeaker, etc
I am pretty on board with Throes of Chaos. Kinda everything I love about cube in one card, works well in red decks flooding out and in spells matter decks, will definitely test.
Seems like I am interested in like 5-6 cards right now... looking forward to the rest of the set
