    Hello everyone!

Welcome to my very first post! i hope you all like it. Today i bring you a homebrew format of Magic that ive been trying out with my brother and friends for quite a while.
After a few months of play-testing this format, i decided to share it with you guys hoping for making it better. The details about the format are in a .PNG image i attached and at the end of my comment.

I would like to receive any suggestions and of course, your experience playing this format in a comment or answering the little poll i just set.

Thank you all and have a good day!

PS: English is not my main language so excuse me for any spelling errors.

    --------------------------------------------

Mind Sculptor is a casual, homebrew format for Magic: The Gathering intended for two players.

Each player must play with a exactly 70 card deck. Regarding the deck-building, it must meet the following guidelines:

    • Seven (7) Rares or Mythic Rares cards which corresponds to the 10% of the whole card deck.
    • Fourteen (14) Uncommon cards which corresponds to the 20% of the whole card deck.
    • At least Twenty-one (21) Common cards.
    • With the exception of basic lands, no two cards in the deck may have the same english name. Some cards (e.g. Relentless Rats) may have rules text that overrides this restriction.
    • Players can build their decks with cards from Urza’s Saga (October, 1998) to the most recent set (Shadows over Innistrad, released in April, 2016).
    • The Banlist for Mind Sculptor format is the same that uses the Legacy format, available in the official Magic: The Gathering website.
Regarding the gameplay, it must meet the following guidelines:

    • First mulligan free (then falling back to partial paris or normal mulligans).
    • The size of a sideboard is exactly 10 cards.
    • In this casual format, you start with a life total of 30 (rather than the usual 20)
    • The format follows the latest version of the official rules for Magic: The Gathering. Check them for more information.
    Philosophy of Mind Sculptor format
Through this customization of the game, we offer the most balanced gaming experience for the players to enjoy. It will be your deck-building skills, your strategies, how you execute them using your cards and the manipulation of the random events to your favor which will determine the course of the game.
You must build a deck using all resources, even the cheapest cards you have, giving them a new big value. All cards are important part of this puzzle.
The 70 Cards size keeps it easy to shuffle and offers plenty of room for different card choices to make your strategy work.

This is a highly competitive and satisfying format which allows you play cards from a large selection of sets in the history of Magic.

    Welcome to Mind Sculptor.
