Painter's Servant is unbanned. Together with Grindstone it makes for a Mill-everything-at-once combo, and is also an abusable wincon. I don't quite see it in this deck, except for when we want to use Whisper, Blood Liturgist with instant-speed to get any creature we want out of the freshly milled graveyard, before it is shuffled and used as a library again, due to the Eldrazi Titans.
I don't think this one belongs in the cEDH forum, because it's lacking a lot of artifact ramp, like Mana Crypt or the commander legal Moxes, or JtMS, but it's getting better at what it wants to do.
I plan on getting my hands on an Exclude, a Sapphire Diamond and a Nexus of Fate (when the rotation hits), so it gets even more consistent.
What do you think?
Didn't you consider Cavalier of Thorns? I feel like it could be an awesome card. Dig for 5 then put a land from those 5 onto the battlefield and the rest into your graveyard. Exiling itself grants another creature for selfmilling or something you want to draw again. I like that one a lot.
Also 5/6 with Reach.
This new hydra legend makes all your critters cost four less.
Yeah, but Rooftop Storm makes them cost 0 and I'm still unsure if I should play that one.
I've put Silumgar in for now and keep Knight Exemplar in mind.
Liliana's Contract won me a 1on1 vs Urza, Lord High Artificer (god, how I hate that card), so yeah, I'll keep that one in. It's an awesome Win Con in this deck. I'm still on the fence about Silumgar, because normally I don't like attacking that much as I want to keep a defense up. My Commander draws hate from the other players, so I want to be able to block and not be tapped out.
I've built a Reaper King deck a few months ago and now I'm starting to wonder, what other Tribal effects there are. Maybe some really powerful ones that are overlooked, because the tribe itself isn't well supported?
Note that "becom[ing] an artifact creature" is treated differently by the rules than, say, "becom[ing] a land creature" or "becom[ing] an enchantment creature" or, as in the case of Sarkhan's first loyalty ability, "becom[ing] a ... Dragon creature" (compare C.R. 205.1b with C.R. 205.1a).
That clears things up a lot, but it still seems very unintuitive.
I just ran into a seemingly weird interaction with my Sydri, Galvanic Genius.
I have a Planeswalker and a Mycosynth Lattice out and animate my Planeswalker with Sydri's first activated ability. The Planeswalker is now an Artifact Creature that's still a Planeswalker. At least that's what Sydri's ruling says:
If the noncreature artifact had any other supertypes, types, or subtypes, it will keep those. In most cases, the artifact creature won’t have any creature types. (2013-10-17)
So far, so good. Planeswalkers, animated by Sydri would lose loyalty counters when they are dealt damage. That's, what brought me to a halt. Let's take a look at Sarkhan the Masterless's ruling:
Once Sarkhan’s first loyalty ability has resolved, each planeswalker you control (including Sarkhan) is no longer a planeswalker for the rest of the turn. They don’t lose any loyalty counters or abilities, and you can still activate their loyalty abilities if you haven’t done so yet this turn. They don’t lose loyalty if they’re dealt damage while they’re not planeswalkers. (2019-05-03)
What is the difference between those wordings that in one case the Planeswalkers won't lose their "planeswalkeriness" and in the other, they do? Seems inconsistent to me.
Now that this site closes, will you post your primer somewhere else?
Would be sad to see something this extensively written go down because of poor decisions from Curse...

Maybe I'll cut Expedition Map for him.
Now that's an effect! I can even use it politically to save another player's butt when I want to. I like this one a lot. Thank you!
https://archidekt.com/decks/54057#Tribal_Tribal
This is the list I'm playing and I have at least 3-4 cards that I'm unsure of keeping.
Cards that I have already considered:
Silumgar, the Drifting Death
Gilt-Leaf Archdruid
Shared Animosity
Drogskol Captain
Rooftop Storm
Do you know any other Tribal support cards or lord effects that are worth considering?
That clears things up a lot, but it still seems very unintuitive.

Well, it would work with options to draw cards on an opponent's turn. Cycling effects for example.
You play Narset's Reversal, but no Isochron Scepter? Together, they also allow you to bounce your own extra turn spells.
What about Wincons? I mean, of course, infinite extra turns are a pretty good option, but cards like Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries should be in there in my opinion. That's why I'd cut Finale of Revelation.
If you play Metallurgic Summonings, you could also play Mechanized Production as another wincon.
What about protection? Propaganda or Glacial Chasm both sound like valid options to buy yourself some time.
