Does the damage sustained from the sorcery (3 damage to each creature) persist through to the combat phase and allow the Molder Beast to kill my Wall of Frost?
I assume the answer is yes. I say that because there is an actual step within the end phase that directs the player to remove all combat damage sustained that turn. Am I right or wrong? Thanks in advance!!
If I spend the mana to change my Shambling Vent into a 2/3 white and black elemental creature, what happens if it dies that turn? Does it return to being a land or does it go to my graveyard? Thanks!
Aha!!! So the '3' in the (3/1) portion of the card is the multiplier for how many -1/-1 poison counters are applied. Thank you! I would have never thought of it that way.
Ok, I'm pretty sure I have this right, but the comprehensive rules on this are a little muddled:
If my opponent attacks me (player) with Tel-Jilad Fallen I take 3 damage as well as a -1/-1 poison counter, correct. Same applies if I block or get blocked by this creature, true? Thanks!
Thanks a ton, also, sorry for posting another question here. I'll make sure to add new ones each time. I hope I'm not wasting anyone's time with these simple questions. You guys are all very knowledgeable and have helped immensely so far!
I'd like to piggyback off of these questions so I don't create a hundred new threads: Creating new threads is actually what we prefer that you do for new questions. Last question for this one, please!

I just ran into my first Emblem card "Jace" (sorry, can't get the card-tag to work with this one). It says it exists in the Command Zone, so I take it that this card can only be played in the Commander Game format?
I have Moorland Inquisitor on the battlefield. My opponent casts Human Frailty. I can respond with Momentary Blink to effectively dodge that attack, correct? Question is, at what point or phase does is return to the battlefield? It does not say. Eerie Interlude at least tells me that the card returns at the beginning of the next end step.
EDIT: Well after some more research, I found that, yes, It can be used to dodge targetted removal spells. However, I've seen mixed answers on whether it undergoes 'summoning sickness' again. Can anyone clarify this for me? Sorry for any time wasted.
Thank you both very much for your clarity and brevity!
Lastly, and this may seem vague, can someone please explain the "counters" / "charge counters" concept to me? We can use Trade Caravan or any Planeswalker card as an example. How do I actually apply these counters?
As the title infers, I am a newb to this game. I have a couple questions that are probably very simple rules, but I can't seem to find any clarification:
(1) If a card has a skill trigger "when Fiend Hunter enters the battlefield... ", does that effect trigger before or after summoning sickness has worn off?
(2) With regards to a card like this: Geist of Saint Traft, will the Angel token be resummoned with each attack or does it only proc one time? Basically, can I place a 4/4 Angel token each turn if I declare him as an attacker each turn? Based on the way the trigger reads, I say yes. However, my wife has her doubts.
Say I have Wall of Frost on the battlefield and my opponent has a Molder Beast. It is her turn and during her pre-combat phase, hits me with Anger of the Gods, then after moving to combat, she attacks with her Molder Beast and I decide to block with my Wall of Frost.
Does the damage sustained from the sorcery (3 damage to each creature) persist through to the combat phase and allow the Molder Beast to kill my Wall of Frost?
