so now that the PW set has mostly been spoiled... Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God is a copy of any planeswalker in play, making it the most versatile walker ever
it also instantly wins with a Doubling Season too(most of the time)
the problem is the triple black cost... but it could be handled with an Oath,Birds,or Caryatid Kasmina, Enigmatic Mentor does a lot of different things at the same time
most of the other walkers however are designed to be for specific decks, it feels Ignite the Beacon might make it as a one-of for a toolbox build
a lot of the proliferate cards are cool but im not sure what direction that could go in
the elderspell has a shockingly pushed mana cost for the effect (ironically this makes it even stronger than the cruel ultimatum remake some people were expecting)
thankfully its just as narrow. wonder if this scares players out of playing walkers in standard
deliver unto evil has combo potential, perhaps in storm?
nicol bolas of course, has a very exciting design. should be interesting to see in actual matches. someone somewhere should pull off the elderspell into ultimate play and it will be glorious
this feels like a spoiler for next week
its another way of casting the suspend cycle, notably from the graveyard. perhaps a one of for electrodominance decks?
being a planeswalker tribal and doubling season fan has made me unreasonably excited over this set
very interesting designs, even if intentionally underpowered

This spell costs 1 less to cast if you control a Wizard.
Counter target spell.
looks like the tribal counterspell long theorized by custom card makers. t1 delver/siren stormtamer into this one is pure tempo
Damping Sphere

If a land is tapped for two or more mana, it produces C instead of any other type and amount.
Each spell a player casts costs 1 more to cast for each other spell that player has cast this turn.
probably the most hyped card right now. anti storm and tron(and cloudpost... and workshop...) with splash damage to snapcaster and arbor elf decks.
hope the new place is just as active!

too bad it prevents Archive Trap
the static seems a little unneccesary if you can get to 6 mana though

this article has the best build i've seen
on a side note im shocked at how many unnamed returning mechanics are in this set. really brings home the flavor of different planes converging
very interesting designs, even if intentionally underpowered
the release notes for every masterpiece set mentions masterpieces. this doesn't.
also they brought back protection... but as hexproof from (color). pretty sad since i believe color hosers arent fun
