So since Wizards is doing away with the traditional core set, what are the odds that it gets replaced by an "infinity" type core set, that stays legal in standard and modern indefinitely? Like maybe instead of M16, it is more like M-INFINITE. Or maybe a select group of x amount of cards that get their Hall of Fame entry into eternal standard status. Thoughts?
Do you guys think that I should get a Nissa or two now, or later on when Khans comes in? Will the price go down a bit? I need it after rotation for a BG rock deck.
From a solid rock player to another, wait for ktk. She will drop due to new card hype, then snatch her up.
I wouldn't say "worse". It is a different ability altogether. It may force people into getting greedy and putting themselves in a bad position. The problem I have with it is it paints a huge target in multiplayer, but that is a personal preference.
In competitive environments it's just so important to force the discard as early as possible... wasting your second turn to drop this could seriously cost you the game and once in top deck mode... you get nothing. And once you top deck a couple of these they will find themselves removed from your deck. Waste not, the deck space. The turn two. the binder slot.
The masses have spoken... and they still sound terrible at magic design.
You will forever be missed Blood in the Watering Can.
What everyone is missing is that the FTV products, just like EVERY non-set product, will have one chase card, a couple of OK cards, and then some other stuff. The ol' mind sculptor has been announced. Do NOT expect anything even close to the same value in the set.

EDIT: Number two is so Gifts Ungiven can fetch an Island and a SC Island, in case you really need one.
I wish I could thank you twice.
I have a mighty Fertilid. No other creatures on the battlefield.
I untap. Beginning of my upkeep, I gotta sac my fertalid. Can I use his ability twice in response to the sac trigger?
