    Hi, have question regarding protection

    situation:

White creature A have protection against Blue, and opponent is a full multicolor deck with all blue & green. (creature and sorcery, everything are all green & blue)

Does the "protection" here still protect the white ?

if yes, doesnt this mean there is no way for the blue & green deck to destroy the white creature(with protection) at all?

Like to ask for card like Skitterskin , can he use its ability the time it is being target by a card or effect which will damage him (eg: 1 or 2 damage)

When Skitterskin is being target by card or effect that the damage is 1 or 2, can Skitterskin use its ability to funny regenerate 1st , then only the damaging card or effect be resolve?

added : for Sludge Crawler , can he activate his +1+1 ability before combat damage is being applied? or can activate during attacking phrase?

Cycling is an ability that can only be used when the card is in your hand. After it is on the battlefield, cycling doesn't do anything. So, for Secluded Steppe, you can either play it for your land drop that turn, or pay W and discard it from your hand to draw a card. Unless you have a way to get it back in your hand, you'll only be able to use it once.

oh I see, althought not sure whether are they any card that have tap ability and pay mana ability together, so can a tapped card use the pay mana ability?

for example, card like the following :

Secluded Steppe - can tap the land itself to provide a white, then use its 2nd ability to draw a card?

Noble Templar - we can use plainscycling in hand, on battlefield, or after attacking?

for Cycling skill, we pay 1 time or 2 time to use it? for eg, Secluded Steppe showing Cycling 1W ( 1W, discard ........) so here we use 1 mana or 2 mana? same goes for Plainscycling, 2 or 4?

Hi, found out some situation and like to know how are these being resolve.

    1) Scourge of Fleets being summon, and can we use Eerie Interlude to save all our creatures from being returned?
    2) Creatures with Soulbond skill can keep soulbond-ing with newly summoned creature?
    3) Sharpened Pitchfork and for similar equip type card, if only have 2 mana, we can summon the card and do nothing? or must have at least 3 mana to use this card?

    4) 'Hexproof' doesnt protect against spell or abilities that mention "All" right? since card never written "target"
    5) Artifact & Enchantment card can be used on Hexproof unit?
    6) Emancipation Angel you can return a tapped land right??

    ----------------

saw a gameplay from this youtube video , where I am confuse what they did around timing 17:40 ~ 18:35 min , can someone explain?? XD

-a)situation, left player play Fiend Hunter, and mention his ability go on stack and this ability is targeting Unbreathing Horde,
then he play Momentary blink on Fiend Hunter, after instant resolved, Fiend Hunter back to battlefield and ability trigger again, so this 2nd trigger he says target another card and take that card put under it, to show exile.
After this, he says Unbreathing Horde is exile forever. (Why is this happening??)

when Fiend Hunter himself get exile, doesnt Unbreathing Horde already back to the field, why it is being forever exiled?? did they play wrong??

(if the instant timing make Fiend Hunter to be able to use its ability the 2nd time, doesnt that mean both card should be put under it, so when Fiend Hunter leave the battlefield, both exiled card will be returned?) dont get why they show the 1st exiled card is forever exiled.

    ----

    thanks in advance for telling~

    Quote from Rezzahan »
    1) Any power/toughness changing instant effects can be played during every step and phase of any turn where players get priority (so not untap, and usually not cleanup). If such an effect is created before the combat damage step, it will affect the creature's combat damage. The latest opportunity to do so is during the declare blockers step after blockers have been declared.

If both player have instant card that can be activated just before assigning damage, how does the stack/priority/ who go first on? attacker 1st or defender 1st?

Because player who go last always have advantage to use that instant card/effect to turn the table.

eg: attacking player have instant card with altering creature atk/hp, while defend player have Peel from Reality.

    a) if the timing is attacker choose to play card first, then attacker will boost own creature, curse defender to win current battle, when they become blocked. Defender more advantage as waiting attacker to use up all available Mana

    b) if defender go first, then defender gonna use the "return" card first, but attacker now still able to summon or do something as long as there are available mana.

    ----

    [after declaring attacks and blocks]

in short, if both players have instant card/effect that can be benefit to ownself if opponent use theirs first, which side gonna go first? is it player turn that he/she must choose to use all available instant at that step, or the opponent.

or is goes 1 by 1? eg: after u play 1 card, u ask opponent whether they wanna play any cards, if not and u are able to play another, u ask again? (or once they says no, they cant use it anymore in that step/phrase)

    how about for instant card/effect?

after both player declare attackers and blockers, at this moment, can anyone play instant card that :

    1) reduce attack & / toughness,
    2) return attacking creature (Etherize , )

    3) return creature (Peel from Reality )

  • posted a message on tap ability activated after I declare attack
hi, was testing playing magic 2015 and last AI boss is using white deck,

she has a creature with the ability : 1,2white ; tap, tap opponent creature (something like that)

I thought we cant use tap ability on opponent turn but after searching online, says that tap ability can be activate just like playing instant, but they said cant after someone declare attacker.

Yet when I declare, this AI pay the cost, then tap 1 of my attacker, so conclusion is that tap ability can be activate any time? or is this the game bug??

    -----

is this the same for instant card? where after someone declare attacker/s , we can use instant card to (for eg) reduce their attack&/toughness so all the blocker/s will be dead.

Hi, like to ask about Gustcloak Savior

description says : Whenever a creature you control becomes blocked, you may untap that creature and remove it from combat.

so since himself is also a creature, does it affect self?? if yes then that also mean description like this are all self affected abilities?

    Thanks in advance
