Does Assault Formation's ability apply to when a target creature fight another target creature or is it null? Like, say if Foe-Razer Regent was to fight Nyx-Fleece Ram while Assault Formation was out for the player controlling the Nyx-Fleece Ram? Would The Nyx-Fleece Ram be a 5/5 or a 0/5 in this situation? I've been thinking that Assault Formation does not come into play here, but I am not 100% certain. Thanks for any responses!
Just in case you are not very familiar with the cards.
I absolutely loved that deck. I constructed this deck to make it more of my own, to have a bit of pride in it.
This deck still has its founder's kill conditions of Kaervek's Torch and Vent Sentinel. The major change between the original and this are the Axebane Guardians which makes the deck a bit more ramp-y. I've found this works a bit better, at least for me. Once an Axebane Guardian is able to get on the field, then its a real show, as long as it stays there. There are a couple ways to get the Axebane, Pack Hunt and Drift of Phantasms. Honestly, I'd have to say Walls and Defenders are my favorite archetypes/abilities, they are just a blast, especially when you are able to deal 20 to 40 damage directly to a player in a single turn, but it takes some time.
