HI everyone, my newest batch of alters since i returned to altering: Also, the plains may or may nor have been posted already sometime last year (I found it in my box of lands, i had forgotten about it). Umm, the spiritmonger is by Glen Angus, I find it special due to the fact that he is no longer alive :(, just thought i'd show the card:
The swamp is unfinished, the island probably is as well! I have to also say that unfortunately the scanner made the paint look off-coloured when it is actaully already very well blanded! It is especially apparent on the swamp and very dissapointing. Let's just say it looks better in person, alot better.
I cant believe its not a bump. FAnath, that tinker gobbo looks amazing! i would have loved to have seen him full frame but still a great job there!

@ sysel - Excellent work. You have a nice clean style. The terminate and banefire are especially sweet. I also really like your signature it is very clean and stylish. It is interesting without being distracting. I hope you stick with the alterations, with time and practice you will only improve.
@ mustardknight - Glad to hear you are rejoining the altered art game. I really like your impressionistic style on the island, hurricane, and krosan verge. I love how on the island you tie the art in with the boarder. The other two suffer a little from the art not being fully incorporated into the rest of the card. The art just sort of ends. You other alters seem to be of the more quick and dirty for creative/ comic effect. That said, the psychotic looking mistmeadow skulk is sick. Is that a splattered bug or something in the textbox?
Here are some bitterblossoms I did a couple weeks ago. So they have not taken into account any of the advice I have received. Please let me know what you think. I just want to get better so feel free to criticize the smallest thing
Great work, ty for the feedback (the psychotic skulk beheaded an ape or maybe another kithkin, but hte head is humanoid). I really would have loved to have seen more colours to the bitterblossom, not that they aren't well done, however, good job.
Well everybody, I have basically taken a rather extended break from mtg, and i am just about to get back into it. Some of these alters have already been posted (possibly more than once too), but I am simply showing them so that i can give an idea of my ''work'' before i get back into altering cards: Here we go:
Well its been forever since my last post!!! I seriously doubt anyone would remember me but i posted a few alterations way back (actually about a year ago haha). Here's one I did that was appreciated and eventually given to a fellow player. That player still has it today, can't go without islands i suppose.
Pardon me for the double post but I couldn't post two images on the same post for some reason. Here's another alteration:
I have never had it done before, but I have known people who have "shared" the experience. It will hurt like hell, and I'm telling you this from some tough people, not some pansies. You will save money like LasherHN alluded to, but it will hurt like hell. Luckily for me, I haven't had any dental procedures other than cleaning. That to me is tough enough.
Teeth are a tough one, I hate the dentist, even cleaning. The scraping of the metal hooks on your teeth is...
The colours are off due to the scanner. In real life they look much better
