I currently run a mono blue merfolk deck with cackling counterpart and I see the future possibilites of merfolk with GTC. I picked up a couple extra copies of the merfolk lord for trade fodder next year.
I need to build a type 2 singleton pauper deck that allows uncommons. there is a tournament this weekend and I need a competitive deck. I'm having the hardest time picking which colors. Any suggestions?
So this is my list as is for regionals. I like the mana base right now, but I know it can be better. Anyone have suggestions? I would like to stay as many basics as possible, but i know its inferior.
A couple things I would like to comment on.
4 Rafiq of the many, this card draws every form of removal in every situation, I feel having 4 is a must because I always want one in play and if I have more than one in my hand I know it won't be a dead card because it will be played eventually.
Mulldrifter, thsi deck needs draw and I can't play an aggro/tempo deck with jace, i need an attacker. (I tried jace, but mulldrifter was better)
Say you have a creature that has the ability to gain flying for a mana cost. You enter combat and you attack, they declare blockers. Can you in response make the creature flying so that the blocking is illegal? Or do you have to make him flying during the beginning of combat?
why ever buy boosters or starter/tournament packs if you could just buy singles?. i just want thrill of opening an old pack and gambling on getting something sweet, but i dont want to get ripped off, so does anyone know anything about the scanning of older packs or how to tell if something has been repacked? or maybe a reliable seller
i dont know, just because of the theory that starter/tournament packs give better rares. but i heard somewhere that they could scan packs to see what ones had the money rares and they wouldn't open the bad packs, or how to tell if i got sold a repack or something.
I'm looking to blow some money on a sealed revised starter pack, i was wondering if there were any information about where to do this without getting ripped off, anything will help.
ive had my own situation where stealing creatures with sower is very powerful, like the other day i stole a rhox war monk which forced the 5cc player to wrath, i was happy using sower as a removal spell

Kitchen finks needs to be here nomatter what.
Crystallization, I feel this deck needs more than 8 removal spells to stay on top, and crystallization is my fix, its the pacifism I always wanted.
