How do you all sideboard against Storm and Eldrazi Tron? I can't decide for the latter whether I should be bringing in 5 anti-hate cards or a little less. I know Eldrazi Tron could bring in 3 relics and 2 surgical extractions sometimes.
Suddenly lists seem to be running 3 Life from the Loam. I thought the general consensus was 4, but it looks like some are going down to 3 to MD Vengeful Pharaoh. Any insight as to why?
Depending on what Amonkhet yields, I can see us switching to more colorful mana base to play whatever goodies we get. The mechanic definitely seems good, because it's a downside in most decks so possibly they will make the cards quite powerful.
Where do you guys think we are meta wise right now (in terms of tiers)? I know we are hanging at about 1.56% of the meta, but I don't actually know where on the tier list that is. Granted I know the tiers aren't always the best measure of how good a deck is, because I think we do pretty well against a good deal of the meta, but just curious. Like, bottom of tier 2?
Hey guys, new to this forum. I'm considering building this deck after being on U tron for 2 years. I built eldrazi processors, then Eye of Ugin got banned. I built Dredge, then Grave-Troll got banned. So here I am, hoping to get a competitive and relatively cheap deck that won't get banned (knock on wood). From U tron I have 2 chalices, a wurmcoil, and a Ugin lying around. I'm hoping to not have to fork over a ton of money at the start, so I'm wondering if you all think I can use these, and if so how? I'm considering both wurmcoil and ugin, and then 2 chalices and 3 mindstone main. I like Basilisk Collar but I'm afraid of its interaction with Chalice. I don't want to get another 2 chalice if avoidable. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
The sideboarding guide on the primer is awesome! Question though, since it says collective brutality is a good swap for mom hug, if I'm boarding in 2 CB would I board out 2 CR, or 1 CR and something else? Same question for if I'm boarding in 2 Thoughtseize and 1/2 natural state, do I take out 2 narcomeobas or try to spread out?
I usually board out 2 mom hug. If its against a deck that I need to interact with (infect, old zoo, ect.) then I am not racing. If its using snap extraction, its got counters to worry about and mom hug is bad too.

Hey so quick question. How does everyone feel on Tormod's Crypt vs Relic of Progenitus for SB grave hate. I've always used Relic and thought it was better, and I still do think it's better out of context, but I'm running 2 chalice MB so I'm rethinking that one. Do our chalices make Tormod's Crypt better?
@Squelch_Your_Fetch I love your username, been there done that, it was fun. Even better is squelching lantern of insight sac effect when they see chalice on top of your deck
So here's the situation: your opponent casts a spell and you have both remand and condescend in hand. Which one will you use?
Really depends. If condescend would be too expensive and you need the extra mana for something else instant-speed then obviously remand. In general I'd say remand when they don't have the mana open to just recast it, so early game and expensive spells. Condescend if you want to permanently get rid of it or if they have enough mana to recast it. If they play something like a path late game and have lots of mana up, your in a tough spot: either you spend a ton of mana condescending it, or remand it and they just recast it again. Just think a few steps ahead and you should be fine
Is there a consensus on Tec Edge vs Ghost Quarter. I've been running Tec Edge ever since I got the deck, but just thought I revisit the idea. I've never tried Ghost Quarter, I can guess the difference would be small and probably comes down to the context. Specifically as a one-of, because I don't think we want to be running more than 1.
I'm guessing it's the same for Narc?
