Hi,
While playing friendly sealed league over the weekend, I had an opponent tick down from 4...3...2...1..., then got the "(Your Opponent) wins the match!" message. I was down a game, but still had something like 90 seconds on my own game clock. Did I miss something? Can you run out of time and still win the match?
This seems like a great card! I'm brewing a G/W token creature deck including the new flip land/demon and the Hanweir Militia Captain, which gets you from four creatures to five all on its own. Is this too weak a synergy to be powerful? Seems like populating the field with Oath of Gideon, Gideon, Nissa, and Secure the Wastes makes flipping Ormendahl pretty easy. Then you've got a hasty flying lifelink indestructible demon that will end the game unless the opponent has an answer, which, granted, there are quite a few. Thoughts?
One of my friends plays mostly modern, but he will play standard events just to cast DIG THROUGH TIME. It's his favorite.
Played a few OGW pre-release events and brought the cards home to brew with. I must say that my new favorite thing to do is:
Cast Abbot of Keral Keep, exile Expedite, play a mountain, and cast Expedite on Abbot, draw a card and turn that monk sideways for a hasted 3 damage. EXPEDITE ON ABBOT IS SUPER FUN!
Yes, I realize I am a hardcore Timmy.
What are some of your favorite plays?
