I'm attacking with a Falkenwrath Noble. No spells or abilities are activated and we move into the declare blockers step. My opponent attempts to flash in a Nephalia Seakite to block it. Its too late for him to flash the creature in as a blocker because we've moved into the declare blockers step and his creature won't be available to declare as a blocker, because we're going from the declare blockers step to the combat damage step.
We then rewind to the declare attackers step. I declare the Noble, he flashes in the bird. It resolves. I then cast Feeling of Dread tapping it while we're still in the declare attackers step to not make the Seakite and elligble blocker.
Did those two situations play out correctly according to the rules?
Were did you get them? A friend? When I hear stuff like this, I always suggest checking if they are real in the first place.
A friend of mine is going away for military stuff. He gave me the cards and told me to do whatever I wanted with them. I thought it'd be a bunch of commons and random junk.
..I want to make a deck but I have no idea where to start. Usually with formats that are clearly defined like standard I can usually make a deck and go from there. With Legacy's vast card pool that doesn't seem to be a valid option.
If you wanted to make a new deck for Legacy.. how would you do it?
I don't understand when people use cards that came out in 1994 to prove a point ala white having trample. Isn't it obvious that the color pie shifted away from them having it since.. you know 1994? Also citing ONE offshoot card that came out doesn't justify that white can now have trample in any and everything that comes out.
Zoo has to attack you to kill you, you can interact with them by blocking and playing creature removal. Zoo doesn't do anything unfair, it just plays under costed dudes.
You can interact with splinter twin by playing counter spells and creature removal.
But the thing is Zoo is an interactive deck, decks like Splinter Twin, Storm, and Pyromancer's Ascension just aren't. It doesn't promote interesting games when people are mostly just playing Non-interactive combo.
What makes zoo interactive? The fact that I can block these horrendously overpowered creatures?
Yes, but it still doesn't give you CA, because with that argument liliana's gives you CA as well since you're feeding her -2 to kill creatures. Regardless, Jace's being +2 does make it pretty solid.
There's a greater chance of my opponent having cards in their library as opposed to creatures on the board.
Her +1 isn't really that appealing. I dont want to discard cards. Maybe some things to pitch to the GY but I'm not seeing anything I'd want in there so far.
Her -2 is okay since she comes out relatively fast, but she'll probably -2 and then promptly die the turn afterwards.
Just like Jace Beleren, shell be very playable and just like Jace Beleren, shell be very good with Sun Titan.
3 mana walkers are good.
Jace provided some pretty awesome card advantage with his + and - abilities. I dont really see the same coming here since you're pitching a card as well.

I was thinking something GBU-rockish with Quirion Dryad

Like a said as well. Citing a single card. Its obvious its not something thats supposed to be reliably in white.

See what I did there?

The + ability feeds the - ability which you get an advantage of cards out of. For each card they get you're effectively getting two.

Isn't her ultimate just Do or Die?
