Nah the deck is really dead. Copter was the only way to make the draw smoother and Reflector is what keep midrange creature like Kalitas at bay.
And with Emrakul out of the format, Marvel will fall in popularity, so the deck loses one of its best match. GB Del, -while weakened- on other hand, will still be played, the deck can survive without Emrakul, it's still the king of the grind.
My Ur Fevered Visions control deck smashes on WW, and it does so using traditionally BAD cards, aka bounce.
Like people said, adapt, this is a great standard, some people just dont want to look at the cards and figure out what to use.
"My [insert random deck here] smashs the tier 1 guys." is a sentence that has no sense since you can't prove anything here or even prove that it's true.
Eye must be banned because it's a land that can virtually product 12 mana turn one. Yes, if your hand is one eye and 4 mimic + 2 endless, you can put them all on the battlefield.
More realisticly, this card will often gives 4 mana. This is far too much. As a friend stated, with Urborg, it's a Mishra Workshop.
Temple is a fine card, as temple gave birth to the Processor deck, which will keep existing if Eye is banned, and won't be as oppresive as it was for Rock/X deck.
Tron prey upon control because of Eye, as it made impossible to win a draw-go battle. Slamming Threat was a thing, but being able to tutor them and gain card advantage was too much.
There is no reason on Earth to let Eye of Ugin open in Modern. Not a single good one. Not banning it will result in the simple death of the format.
My answer to this is that we can't shortcut it, but we can still do the combo without a TE - Slow Play because the game state is changing and we're advancing our game plan by drawing cards and making our deck thinier.
I have a lot of problem dealing with Mardu Green. Game 1 is easy as hell but after side, a single Transgress in Mind will put me out of the game and get clocked before doing anything.
I don't find good sideboard tech, does you guys have some hints ?
Edit : This might be a bit pushing, but anyone tested Nissa's revelation ?
I haven't had that many reps against mardu Green. But my theoretical side door plan is +3 roast, + 3 conduit of ruin and then I take out four hedron crawlers and 2 rattleclaw Mystic
So you're slowing yourself to control a bit more the game ? I don't know if Conduit of Ruin will work, does it for you ? It's not a deck that I fear in particular but it's the most played deck currently.

The problem lies in CoCo and Secure the Waste.

And I don't see how the PT will change it.
WW tier 1 is so sad, the powercreep is so bad that Anthem is playable.
If you wish to use rough language, please just type it out and let the censor pick it up. Thanks. -- Lugger
Meanwhile some affinity players try to beat Stony Silence.
