Yes, it has synergy with your ETB but if I want this effect I’d rather have Parallax Wave, which can be tutored in white and kills tokens.
This is phasing, so there is no leaving or entering the battlefield. No triggers there. You can also blink it to phase out more things and extend the vanishing timer.
This looks like the artist took a picture of some guy
She painted this, all of this, including the 'photo' part. You can blame this on the art direction, not on the artist, she has some impressive skills and a very distinctive, unique style.
I doubt it will be feasible in the current historic cardpool
I feel the same but going on the opposite direction, as the decks that can win playing Mind's Desire don't need to play it to win. We do have Paradox Engine and Emry, Lurker of the Loch loops for the Mana/Storm Count to break it completely.
Considering the number is chosen at random and you hit literally any spell that comes first, that sounds hard
You can use Scroll Rack to set up the top of your deck with 3 lands on top and then the spell you want to cast. Or, you know, set up a Doomsday pile with 3 lands and Thassa's Oracle
This is phasing, so there is no leaving or entering the battlefield. No triggers there. You can also blink it to phase out more things and extend the vanishing timer.
This might be Jin Gitaxias? Double your triggers, counter your opponent's, in a similar vein to the other Praetorian effects?
(But you can always imprint a Fork in the Scepter ^^;)
