Where do we stand on Hell's Thunder as a three-drop? Also to the Demigod Red guy, I'd ditch Tattermunge Maniac in favor of Vexing Devil. If not that, then Figure of Destiny gives you some reach.

You could consider Scab-Clan Mauler as a two-drop. It was popular in Standard Gruul decks. Strangleroot Geist is worth a consideration as is Hellspark Elemental, because HE takes 2 removal spells.
There's already 2-3 demons spoiled, so I think that Griselbrand's release will coincide with an emergence of demons to make a last stand. Which could make things much worse in the beginning.
So I want to play a Jund colors deck that is primarily red, since that's the Shard's main colour. I really like Jackal Pup for nostalgic reasons so I want him in there as well as Sarkhan Vol. Beyond that I am unsure of how to proceed exactly.
I loved Darigaaz, the Igniter as a beginning player back when Invasion came out. Afterward I shifted focus toward red aggro with Price staples like Rathi Dragon and Jackal Pup.
OP, can you somehow merge my love of Darigaaz with a red aggro strategy using the Jackal Pup? The only things I can't afford for this are the Power 9. I'd like the deck more red-focused to, since its Darigaaz's primary colour.
Ignite the Dawn could mean just that. Burn down the dawn and leave Innistrad in eternal darkness with no sun or moon. That way the werewolves would be stuck in their bestial form and the baddies win.
Your dragons are all pretty explosive, so maybe consider Mana Flare for some acceleration. Here's a spell base to consider:
2-3 Mana Flare
1 Vampiric Tutor
1-2 Sylvan Library
That's just for searching. To fit it in, perhaps drop cultivate, explore and rampant growth. If you can afford it, and want to be nauseatingly competitive, then also use Demonic Tutor.
By dropping the Dragonspeaker Shaman you open yourself up for other goodies like Boggart Ram-Gang. You could drop the Outcasts to 1, and consider 3 Figure of Destiny, or, to fit your theme, Kargan Dragonlord. They provide you outlets to use the mana from the Mana Flare. I would just go with Kargan since you can throw excess red mana into his firebreathing ability.
Sash, Waistcoat, Chester and Elionoway need cards. Additionally, I'd like to have seen Skive and Corus get cards. More legendary viashino would be neato as would Kolo Meha, and Warlord Astor.
I always viewed the Legend rule as a planeswalker summoning a famous character based on their memories of that character.
Take me for example. I visited Mirrodin a long time ago and met Glissa Sunseeker. I never knew Glissa the Traitor, hence why I would summon her first legend card. My opponent may have recently ascended after spending time on New Phyrexia. There he may have had a run in with Glissa the Traitor. Hence why he/she would summon Glissa the Traitor.
