    Cons:
    1) The Turtles are enormous. Like 6+ feet tall judging by the few glimpses we get of them. Also, their shells make them look like hunchbacks (if they had lowered Leo's shell about half a head, it'd be fine). As it stands, how does he reach his swords on his shell?

Thanks for pointing this out. When I saw this trailer online, I just couldn't put my finger on what was wrong with Leo. Their shells seem to be way to high on their backs.

After watching the trailer though a couple good times, I am hoping it is just the view point. Some of the other shots don't look that bad.

    Question,
Is there trading on here? If there is, I'm looking in the wrong area.

Nope. No trading. The dust/crafting system is meant to replace trading. Some like it, others don't. I am a free-to-play player myself (£0 spent so far) and have slowly accumulated the deck that I wanted by playing arenas for packs. It's definitely do-able even for a casual player.

ok, i'm going to have to look at that dust/crafting section. it didn't pop out at me so far. thanks for the heads up

Did my first arena last night. Nice that the first one is free to help explain it.

Man, did I get curb stomped by some insane decks though. I got handed 3 straight losses. This style of drafting will take some time for me to get used to.

    Question,
Is there trading on here? If there is, I'm looking in the wrong area.

    So, in short?

    Go **** yourself Nancy Grace.

do you think that he could have come to terms with WWE because of that he knew he was on borrowed time?

on a side note, not sure if I'm happy that Evolution reformed on Raw tonight.

I mean, they were one of my favourite factions but do they really need to bring back a ten year old faction and what's the purpose?

I think Warrior came back and decided to bury the hatchet. If it wasn't for the heart disease that I'm sure he was aware of, he would of stayed the hell away. Hell, during his HoF speech, he said the DVD was wrong. You could tell how pissed he was. But he kept taking time to calm himself.

So for me, the movies seem to be a bit more enjoyable. I don't feel myself nitpicking about things if i was watching, oh, any X-men movie.

    One question though:

It's been a while since I watched The Avengers. But how does Baron Von Dingleberry get a hold of Loki's staff he used? I imagine the staff was probably found by one of his guys in the destruction? or taken from Stark Tower somehow?

Mania did go from a crapper to at least watchable due to 2 Bryan matches.

i haven't seen anything on any dirtsheets yet about a change. So i would take that with a grain of salt.

Being this close to WM30, I can't imagine they would change it up considering the Undertaker has trained with his WM opponents for the last several years at his own ring. (don't know if it's a gym, or what. And this is according to sites i visit) Once Taker signs on, and he gets the opponent, that's when they start working together. All reports I've ever seen mentioned Brock as the guy being there.

My barb has like 100kdps and 2.5mil tough. Everytime I go for a dps upgrade its something stupid like +2.6%dps -20% toughness. I can barely solo T3 because everything takes so long to kill. Feels bad.

I am on 1.5 toughness on my wizard and has 200-220K DPS. You don't need 2.5 mill toughness on a bard to do T3 and up. You just need to make sure that your toughness is high due to all your resists. My wiz has over 1K resists and she can clear most white mobs on T5 with ease. Non whites are where I have the issues cause the CC effects they have get nasty and quick.

I wouldn't worry about your true DPS and Toughness till you hit 70. What ever Torment level you can clear with ease is the only one you should grind Paragon on.

Also the hotfix made S King legend drop move to Diablo if you reset quests. if your tired of repeat grind just reset quests and play it through. I am in the archieves have have gotten 6 legendary items. 3 being set.

i haven't tested it out yet, but I just got done changing up the skills a bit:

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Wrathchild-1930/hero/26898249

Deceptikon helped a great deal in getting me to 60 and helping me find some gear i needed. Nothing top tier from what i remember. and now i need to get it up to 70. go figure.

my character link there, my most used characters are the 4 on the left. my fiancee started a DH, and my brother Coty started a Wiz. I made a couple mules too just to keep any gear i might need for other characters. I stripped the gear off my Barb, that's all sitting in my storage at the moment. nothing special really.

and yea, the skills seemed to of taken a big change. I can't stand my Barb's setup now. I used to use Spear, with the one rune that could make it split into 3, but that skill now Costs Fury, and it just shoots a spear instead of the old one with 1 chain on it. On the plus side, Throw Weapon now generates Fury instead of Costing Fury.

I've had an interesting read. Let's go back to 2007, shortly after the NFL draft.

I was a new member here, and the existing NFL thread we had back then I shared one of my first few posts:

"My Lions really F'd up in my opinion. Swear We don't need another dam WR. we need Offensive linemen to protect our QB and HB. Matt Millen needs to get his *** fired now.

And they traded off QB Josh McCown and WR Mike Williams. My friggin god. Put them in the dam game and let them develop b4 you just go "auto-assume" that they suck or "are not right for this team". I mean c'mon, we can't possibly get any dam worse.

Kitna is not a friggin starter. He's not even a veteran that can "pass on helpful knowledge". hell, we drafted Drew Stanton, but he'll just sit the dam bench for 2 years then get traded like McCown

God i'm not looking forward to this upcoming season."

1st Bold: Would anyone like to take a wild stab on what WR I was not "thrilled" about?

2nd Bold: I think I was the cause of the 0-16 season...

The main thing that is appealing right now is the fact i can go through the entire ppv library and watch stuff I had missed years ago. Pretty much most late attitude era ppv's. Well, and the fact that all current ppv's won't cost $50 or whatever is a nice touch too.

My personal thoughts are that Punk needed time off to heal and needed to clear his head. I think Vince will contact him in the near-ish future and talk with him. I feel like CM punk will be back in the future, but not anywhere close to before Wrestlemania.

Can't wait for next Raw then Rofl Between YES! and CM PUNK being chanted, The Authority won't get a word in edge~wise.

But I agree with you on Punk.

Rumors have been circulating that once his contract is up in July, he was out the door anyway. He had no desire to stay. Guess Batista fueled that fire. I hope he'll give it once last go, and it happens his way at least with a lighter work load.

    Quote from JackintheBox
CM Punk has talked about flat out retiring for good when he is done. And unlike a lot of other people, Punk can't exactly smoke Pot every day like Randy Orton or pop painkillers like half the locker room does. Nagging injuries take their toll from being on the road 300+ days a year. And when he sees people like Brock Lesnar, Batista, Undertaker and the Rock get better paydays than he does, better positioning on the card than he does, I can't honestly blame him.

He busted his butt to put fans in the seats and make the company money, and these part time people reap all the rewards for it. The added uncertainty of PPV bonuses with the WWE Network being what it is, I can't blame Punk for quitting. Punk has been extremely frugal with his money, so he doesn't need the WWE. The WWE needed him.

And when he got tired of the WWE treating him like crap, he walked away. Honestly, Punk looked really disinterested in the entire Royal Rumble. I honestly think he was thinking about quitting before the PPV, but he didn't want to disappoint people who traveled to see him, as the Royal Rumble is the 2nd biggest WWE event of the year.

I will classify my previous post doubting Sting to sign with WWE as "reverse psychology" if he does show up on a show or PPV. :p I found it quite funny that these reports exploded in the last couple days after I doubted it.

I should do this with my Lions. Maybe we'll get the Super Bowl. lol

    Quote from JackintheBox
Well the contract hasn't actually been signed yet for Sting. In addition, reports are unclear as to whether or not its just a WWE Legends contract Sting is considering signing or a part time deal.

Though admittedly, Sting doesn't need the money. It's whether or not he wants to actually wrestle for the WWE. And honestly, Sting had doubts in the past about how he would be used. That's why he didn't sign with them 12 years ago.

That, and he said in an interview (that i think is on some dvd) that what convinced him to not sign with WWE, was when the "Invasion" storyline was going, and Booker T came in on a short segment, introduced himself to the Rock, and the Rock said, "Who?"

I respect the hell out of Sting for always wanting to do what he thought was right, and didn't make it all about money.

Personally, I would be happy if he came in either right after WM at Raw, or right after Taker's match, and basically call him out and do a year long build up to a WM match. But who knows what WWE will do.

I don't think Sting would sign a Legends contract just yet. Too many people want to see him wrestle in the WWE ring an then get an induction to the HoF preferrably shortly afterward.

Onto Punk, I have mixed feelings. Part of me wants to see him get utilized better and have more creative control in another company. Yet, guys like him are exactly what WWE need. I think he'll probably be gone for a couple of months till Trips can talk him down and try to regain some sort of control.

Daniel Bryan's situation, this whole Royal Rumble and the Authority always sandbagging him seems like one giant work. I want to think that they are building up his fan base immensely before they let loose. This wouldn't surprise me if this was Vince's last great character build before he retires. I mean seriously, Vince knows that the whole Yes! chants being done at college and pro games will equal money in the future by getting more fans in and selling merch.

This is a long shot, but that's my 2 cents on Bryan. I see him basically being the next face of the WWE. Maybe not this year, but sometime.

This PPV didn't really do much to get me interested with WWE though

    np Smile

but yea, the rest of the PPV was predictable to a point. I enjoyed the Wyatt/Bryan match though.

Nash coming out to the nWo music was cool. Nice to see him last longer than 10 secs. like, oh, say JBL?

why he was even an entrant is beyond me. They could of had Jake the Snake do that too.

but good lord did that crowd get mad when Rey came out and they realized Bryan was NOT in the Rumble match. When Batista and Roman were left, Roman was getting some damn good pop, and then the crowd let loose again after Batista won.

    In regards to Sting;

I'm calling that he will be the "Mystery Investor" that has been in the TNA storyline side for the last week or so.

I doubt we'll ever see Sting in a WWE ring.

Taker and Brock Lesnar at WM30 seems more likely.

Well, it's certainly been a long time since I've posted a deck of mine on MTGS. I think the last one was my Dromar, the Banisher EDH that was the first of it's kind years ago.

I've finally settled on a 5 color commander to helm my mostly artifact EDH deck. The reason I chose this, if you didn't see my thread in the EDH section, was because I wanted to build a deck to just have some fun and mess around with the board, players, etc. I use some colored spells, and some artifacts that require a color or 2, so this is why I am using a Penta colored general.

And, I already have a Progenitus. Smile

Here's what i have so far. Is my land count about accurate for this type of deck with the mana accelerators that i have? or do i need more land?

posted a message on Best commander for an all artifact deck?
I have completed the insane task of looking at every artifact ever printed via Gatherer. I noted in a document file, each card that has my interest in using for the deck. I also looked up instants/sorceries that had 6+ CMC for all colors that had some sort of wacky effect, or looked like fun for multiplayer EDH.

now i have the task of breaking down roughly 240 cards down to a single deck. :p

After hearing of the Myr suggestion for a deck, I know I will build that eventually. Thanks again for that suggestion Zero.

    Question for a Mod:
Once I get a deck list put together, and post it here, do i request to have this thread moved to the appropriate section? or would that be taken care of automatically?

Kofi winning surprised the hell out of me. I was fully expecting a DQ win at the most. I'm curious if this is going to happen each Raw until the Rumble. Orton goes 1v1 against a mid career, and gets beat clean. Starts making him flip out and all.

well i was 50% again. Even with just picking home teams and a single upset choice.

i'm pretty sure I'm going to go 50% for the Championship Weekend too. I'm just going to coin-flip these two games.

    NFC:

    49ers
    Seahawks

    AFC:

    Patriots
    Broncos

I used away team as heads, and home team as tails. Both flips were tails.

I may use this method on my NCAA bracket this year...

EDIT: Con_Valian noticed my screw up of the NE/Denver game. Redid the flip. Same result. Pats.

Thanks for the responses, some quick notes:

    Quote from Zero_MH
Karona, False God and it's easy to make a tribal myr deck, there are enough to do the job easily and enough myr based spells to work.

I'm noting this as a whole other deck to build after this one. Seems like fun. Thanks Smile

    Quote from Darcykun
Sydri, Galvanic Genius seems like the obvious choice. Don't play Sharuum, the Hegemon... it has some obvious associations with infinite combo, and if you're just playing for cool interactions, Sydri is better at it anyway.

There's also Glissa, the Traitor but that would probably leave out the good colored artifacts you are thinking of using, but she's a good alternative to a mono-brown commander.

If I was to drop down from 5 color to 3, I would probably pick Sydri. I agree about Sharuum though.

    Quote from ashep01
Kozilek, the butcher of truth. There is a really well written primer in the multiplayer section.

I just bookmarked that as a potential guide. I like the build, but I will wait in case I see something else with colored powered artifacts that I like more.

A while ago, some person used Cromat of all things and it has ONLY artifacts (and like 10 colored spells revolving around artifacts). Makes sense, since you have a little leeway in how you want to use Cromat's abilities.

This is exactly how I was thinking of building this deck. But, just not using Cromat.

    Quote from Jostin123
If you're not trying to be ultra competitive, use Bosh, Iron Golem. All those artifacts you spit out can double as win conditions.

    Quote from refiper
My Favorite has always been Bosh throwing heavy objects is always fun Smile

I was under the assumption that Bosh's ability couldn't be played because he is colorless. Did they make an exception?

Overall, i like the suggestions. As far as what I want to do with the actual deck, I like cards like Warp World. If I had to pick about 10 spells that were NOT artifacts, that would be #1. Hence, why I was thinking of running a 5 color general.

posted a message on Best commander for an all artifact deck?
    Greetings.

I am looking at making a new EDH deck that focuses on artifacts only for the entire deck. (minus lands obviously) The concept of the deck though, is to just be able to create problems in a multiplayer game, with not having a real serious win condition. I'd rather be able to do some crazy combo's, sneaky tricks, etc.

Now, at first i thought of running a colorless Legend as my general. But, there are some great artifacts out there these days that require colored mana to function. So that idea is out. My next thought, is to use a 5 color general like Child of Alara or Progenitus.

That's where I need the help of all the great EDH deckbuilders here. I've been playing since Mercadian block, so I know classic cards pretty well. But I would say around the time of Zendikar, I stopped following new sets for the most part, so my knowledge from then up to now is pretty rough.

So, I'm looking for a solid general, and post any idea that you have used, or know of one you have read before with the artifacts. Thanks for reading and for helping out Smile

I just watched Smackdown from last Friday and all I have to say is:

The Shield will be done for by the end of the month. I expect the Royal Rumble to be the end all of the Shield.

Reigns and Rollins will likely stay as a Tag Team while doing singles competition on the side until Reigns becomes to big to be with Rollins.

Ambrose will remain US Champ for a short while (or lose it at the RR due to Shield interference) and will go on to do singles competition.

Well... that's my predictions at least.

some of the random dirt sheet reports i read said they might put in another person to keep the Shield running as a 3 man stable. they were just kicking around names, nothing was concrete yet.

    AFC:

    Colts
    Patriots

    Chargers
    Broncos

But seriously, how many damn times have the Colts and Pats met in the playoffs? I'm having deja vu. Though, it's been a couple years since the last time.

Picks aside, I'll be rooting for the 49ers since they're my 2nd favorite team. I'm really wanting the Chargers to annihilate Peyton's Broncos. So I'll at least root for them.
