    1. Kickass-2 By far the best movie I've seen this year. Taratino put it on his top films of 2013 list and rightfully so. I was really disappointed after seeing Rotten Tomatoes, and the movie blew away all my expectations. Really entertaining, hilarious, unexpected (I love this in movies), and had great characters who had their own emotionally impacting moments. Jim Carrey as Stars and Stripes is just unbelievable.
    2. Star Trek Into Darkness Enjoyed the hell out of this. It's not classic Star Trek or even TNG. The main villain is super cool and the movie had some great action scenes. It's an awesome movie that's not dumb, and that says a lot in today's movie climate.
    3. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire This movie did a lot of scenes super well adapted from the book. I wish more focus had been put on PvP instead of PvE, but none the less scenes like the Johanna elevator scene were unexpected, funny, and very cool that they got it into a PG-13 movie. Actors are mostly solid to great as well. Have to love Katniss and Haymitch.
    4. Prisoners-Didn't know what to expect from this, definitely worth a scene. Never quite sure how everything is going to play out during the movie. The title is a double entendre of sorts, definitely worth a view.
    5. Ender's Game-I liked this movie a lot more than most people. The kid cast for Ender was wonderful and it was cool just seeing Harrison Ford in a sci-fi movie again. It felt like an entertaining movie at a breakneck speed, you barely had time to breathe, the plot just relentlessly moved forward, and it works for the film.

    Anyway, that's my list.

Cringed when I saw the title.

Let the Right One In is my favorite film of all-time (tied with Battle Royale), and the remake was abysmal.

The subtlety was all gone, they changed Eli (now named Abbey) into a predator, and put in about every awful 80s reference possible.

The original had a haunting atmosphere, tenderness between the two leads, not to mention they copied some lines straight from the English dub both in tone and the language.

    Just . . . ugh.

I see the patriarchy here has made Clitoris Week all about their penises. Excellent work, we talk about the clitoris enough as it is, we don't talk about the ***** nearly enough.

    :salute:

Get strapped down screaming at birth and half of your ***** tissue cut severed, 4 times higher suicide rates, vast majority of military deaths, male-only draft/selective service, die sooner, 95% (approx) workplace deaths, vast majority of males have less power than vast majority of women (cause a few business leaders>the excessive amount of males in prison, not graduating college, and large majority of homeless men), treated as idiots on every single sitcom while women are SUPER at everything, drugged up on adderall to fit into a school system not fit for males, making a few cents more and then have 65% of disposable income spent on women, get screwed on alimony/child support/have no reproductive rights (women can abort a fetus, have invisible birth control and despite it being available for men not being on the market, give the baby up for adoption, keep it and force man to finance it male reproductive rights?=keep your dick in your pants) .

That "patriarchy" thing is working great for men! You basically have to be ignorant of our biology that hardwires us to take care of women's needs at every goddamn turn. It was useful when not taking care of women meant us dying out as a species, but is not a useful mindset anymore.

And I realize women do have it worse in some areas, but if we have "equality" in these areas let's get equality across the board like military deaths, and workplace deaths. Of course, American women do not ask to be equal, they ask for their generally better place in society made even more so, and in the end it hurts them most of all because men generally don't give a **** about women other than to screw them anymore, not myself personally, but I don't go around mingling with women other than as friends because i have no desire to lose my life to child support or alimony when a woman can take a used condom impregnant herself with it or lie about birth control and screw me.

Not worth the risk, despite my strong desire for a sex and a number of women willing to provide.

You're not living as a "normal person". When I was first put on adderall and various similar stimulants including ritalin during school the conclusion was well, Matt isn't doing well on his schoolwork and is acting out (hard to expect boys who evolved to be hunters to thrive in a setting where they are sitting down 99% of the day) so he needs X or Y to do well.

The first thing I was led to believe is that OH IM A NORMAL PERSON NOW, but it doesn't jive with no one I knew acting like that but I believed such. You become hyper focused, get idlely amused by doing nothing, become a perfectionist, and also quick to anger. It also annihilated my sex drive and made it nigh impossible to even get up. I spent hours perfecting stories, magic decks, etc. and while I felt happier on it it was a false happiness and it only gets worse as you get dependent and basically feel like **** whenever you are NOT on it. I begged my mom to let me take an extra one before a Magic tournament once and felt the need to lash out almost when I didn't get it.

The conclusion of the adderall/ritalin experiment involved me trashing my entire room, punching 20+ holes in the wall, destroying my BMX trophies, etc. I am one of the least prone to anger people I know.

Wrong. This is relevant to the clitoris awareness day because we so often glamorize the female body/genitalia while society is content with letting males get kicked in the nuts with no protest, women laughing on the View after a man gets his ***** chopped off by his wife, and of course the mutilation of infant babies. If this were equal circumcision would be banned instantly and there would be an equivalent foreskin awareness day.

Look actual studies! Also, as a male restoring my foreskin (even without the 20 thousand super sensitive nerves) my sex life is 4-5 times better conservatively and I would never go back ever.

    http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06685.x/abstract

The glans of the circumcised ***** is less sensitive to fine touch than the glans of the uncircumcised *****. The transitional region from the external to the internal prepuce is the most sensitive region of the uncircumcised ***** and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised *****. Circumcision ablates the most sensitive parts of the *****.

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8800902

"The amount of tissue loss estimated in the present study is more than most parents envisage from pre-operative counselling. Circumcision also ablates junctional mucosa that appears to be an important component of the overall sensory mechanism of the human *****"

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23374102?dopt=Abstract

"This study confirms the importance of the foreskin for penile sensitivity, overall sexual satisfaction, and penile functioning. Furthermore, this study shows that a higher percentage of circumcised men experience discomfort or pain and unusual sensations as compared with the uncircumcised population. Before circumcision without medical indication, adult men, and parents considering circumcision of their sons, should be informed of the importance of the foreskin in male sexuality."

Meanwhile the United States is still chopping off the best part of infant's penises (the foreskin).

Another trendy holiday for everyone to "love" how awesome/amazing/better than men in everyway and so much better women can do everything better YEAH GIRL POWER women which everyone already does, to the point of irrationality.

Sorry, I don't give a damn about clitoris week.

    Quote from cme
In the US, the median marriage age is 27 for women and 29 for men.

There has been a bunch of research on quantifiable benefits of waiting to marry (and have children) - i.e., higher pay, lower divorce rates. Many non-college-educated women are waiting for marriage, but not for childbirth (i.e., for college dropouts, 83% of first births are outside marriage), which is sort of the worst of both worlds.

To the contrary, married men have lower incidence of illness, live longer, earn more, and self-report as happier than their single counterparts. See here, for example. Researchers believe some of these benefits are linked to the health of the relationship as well, not just the marriage institution.

Yes, "married" men. Look at the divorce rate, which partner initiates the divorces, and who typically gets the money, children, and life ruined after the marriage.

Con: If you're male and get divorced (which is initiated by women 70% of the time) prepare to be paying alimony for the rest of your life child support, and just forget ever living life as not poor.

All the benefits with being married are for women.

Marriage is a raw deal for men.

Only the individual who owns a ***** can decide whether "HIV prevention benefits" is worth losing a crap ton of sexual satisfaction. If people want to get circumcised with INFORMED CONSENT as adults I am completely for circumcision. However, performing it on an unconsenting screaming and crying infant is genital mutilation.

I've regained over 9 mm of skin since I started restoring with skin tension and sex/masturbation is unbelievably good and continues to get better the more skin I grow. Without going into TMI the slack effect is amazing. Before I could bate once a day (if I'm lucky) or every other day and it would SUCK, it's more of just get off so I don't have to worry about it, now while I tend to do it rarely I can bate 3-4 times a day and EVERY ONE would be a tremendous deal better than even once a day pre-restoration. You can't put a price on that.

The only thing stopping me is not having time for it. Nothing has reduced my stress level more and made me a more chill person than restoration. A great sexual life just improves every other aspect of your life as well.

Just some food for thought from someone who's been doing this for a few years now.

    Warning for TMI.

Many atheists believe in equally unfounded things that are not supported by scientific evidence like that we have free will, male circumcision has no effect on sexual function/pleasure, and that women are more discriminated against despite evolutionary functions like division of labor and the fact our brains are wired to protect our limiting factors in reproduction (women) and cater to them at all cost as we have largely done throughout history.

Well, anyone can believe any of those things...

As for those assertions, I'm not sure about male circumcision. I don't think doing it provides any notable benefits, but I could be wrong. Haven't really done much research on that.

As far as women being discriminated against, I have to agree with Cervid and Taylor. I think you should make a new thread about it, cause I'd really like to discuss that with you.

I would honestly, but it becomes quite obnoxious dealing with white knight after white knight (not implying that you or anyone here is one).

We live in a society where Hillary Clinton is able to claim women are the most affected by war because their husbands and sons die, a group of women on the view can LAUGH at a man getting his ***** cut off for asking for a divorce and thrown down a garbage disposal and barely anyone bats an eye.

Honestly, I don't bring it up much anymore because instantly everyone berates me, even banal stuff that is merely OH WELL MAYBE MEN SHOULD HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS TOO HERE. I can't take it anymore and am rather mentally unstable as it is so I tend to just ignore it now and deal with the ****storm of being male.

For myself, I'm actually undecided. I was circumcised. My wife is expecting our first child in June. This thread has been good reading so far.

So I said this a while ago in the thread, but then completely put it out of my mind because I just kind of thought we'd be having a girl.

Now I know we're having a boy, so this topic is quite relevant to my interests.

All in all, I haven't seen any reason to have it done, so I guess I'm leaning that way for now.

Don't make the mistake others have. You son can decide when he's old enough whether he wants to get circumcised.

I would give away my car and everything in my bank account (5000 that's taken me several years to save) to have my foreskin back, in fact I wouldn't trade my natural foreskin if I had one for ANY amount of money. I've spent 1000s of hours now wearing tensioning devices to get to restore something that will never be as good as the original, and I'm only about a quarter of the way done.

I think its awesome that they can re-use the foreskins. Most other medical waste has to go through a heavily regulated and expensive disposal system that is terrible for the environment.

Besides, women putting something on their faces that is made from foreskin is not near as gross as where we get red food coloring, or some of the other things we choose to put in our body.

You aren't even a good troll.

Why isn't person X banned from the topic when they are clearly posting solely to upset others, there's a fine line between trolling and debating, and the mods do not seem to care but w/e

    Troll warning.

Not to mention the money hospitals make off of selling infant foreskins.

I've heard you say this before, and you've likely provided a citation before, but I didn't see it in this thread (granted I only skimmed what has previously been posted) -- do you have any documentation that this is common practice?

Don't have a lot of time but it is in multiple places.

    Here's one http://www.rockland-inc.com/Product.aspx?id=40484

It's also used in skinmedica (the facial cream Oprah uses is made with infant foreskins YUCK).
