Void Winnower is certainly part of ulamog's brood, but I think that he will not be the sole eldrazi Ob Nixilis will evoke. Probably we'll see Kozilek channeler too, as in the UR, Ob is using the plural at first, when he starts 'to call' these powers. My guess is that our heroes will have to fight these 2 eldrazi while trying to ripristinate the leyline, and finally be able to trap Ulamog. I don't think Kozilek will appear as a result of Ob's 'spell'. I don't see him that powerful.
Maybe dealing with the new world threatening monster who just arrived at the party? And the old one, who just got released (again).
If Zendikar is to be saved, 14 short stories hardly seem enough to pull that off.
I don't know, some of these stories seemed already 'fillers', just to make to Ulamog' s appearance in the last URs. If Kozilek is the bad guy in OGW, shouldn't it be showed to us at least after a few chapters? Why pulling it out now? And also, my assumption is based on an actual sentence Ob is saying to our heroes, represented as i have said earlier, in the flavour text of Void Winnower.
If this is true, Ulamog is still beatable. Just remember that Ob didn't mess up so bad the leyline, he just converged its mana to himself. The ring plan is still available! I'm ready to be proven wrong, but with 2 eldrazi titans in the same place, we actually wouldn't need 14 more URs XD, cause I don't think that Gideon Nissa Kiora Jace and probably Chandra actually stand a chance against them.
Did you read the flavour text of Void Winnower? Sounds like Ob's referring to Nissa. It seems (probably is) as an extent of what just happened in this UR. Could it be the Winnower the thing he has just awakened? We were discussing this on our Italian site/forum, and I find it very likely! Besides, couldn't be a little too soon for Kozi, even if we know he will appear in OGW? I mean, there are usually 12-14 UR that explain what is happening in the set. If kozilek appears now, How will the team 'fill' the OGW URs? And isn't the next UR based on Chandra? The introduction is about her in regatha (she'll probably feel guilty and follow our PW friends on the plane)
